It was strange, being from one world then taken to another. Y/n's life had always been scary, she hated meeting people, she hated socialising. No, she didn't hate it, the thought, the feeling, it terrified her.

Y/n's parents always wanted her to meet new people, in truth, they wanted to marry her to a rich family to gain their fortune.

It was a cold night when Y/n begged for an escape on the brightest star in the sky. She was always told by her Grandma that you wish on the brightest star, never the shooting star, as it wasn't a star, but a meteor.

She was surprised and terrified when a shadow had taken her to Neverland. She met Peter Pan who she was terrified of, though when he put her in the cage, she somewhat preferred it to the dozen of eyes on her.

Y/n had been in the cage two months. The shadow had been feeding her, the shadow was strangely her friend, the only one she'd call her friend.

Pan had taken her out of the cage after two months. Truthfully he had forgotten about her, the shadow wanted him to give her a chance.

The Lost Boys all stared at her, whenever one went close, she ran, her breathing heavy as she leaned against the tree.

Who had went to help her? Felix.

Felix found the girl somewhat strange. He liked strange things. He wanted to help her, so he followed her, his footsteps quiet, as he had been trained to be subtle

When he found her, he stood close, yet not close enough to scare her. "Breathe in and out, in through your nose and out through your mouth," he mumbled. She was scared, yet he was the only one here to help.

She listened. Y/n began breathing through her nose, out through her mouth, slowly, enough to calm her down. The moment she was truly calm, their eyes met, both widening. They found the other attractive, though they both shared a hidden pain.

Felix had always wanted to feel like he belonged somewhere. He had once hated socialising, not fearing it, just hating it. While Y/n was terrified of people, of socialising.

In that moment Felix made a promise to himself, he was going to help Y/n, whatever the cost.

"We need to help Y/n," Felix told Pan, who was playing with a rock, throwing it in the air. Pan didn't look at him, though a small smirk was on his face. "How? By feeding her to the mermaids?" He hummed at the thought of the creatures ripping up the girl. "Sounds like fun."

"She needs to meet the boys. She needs to get to know them, to show we're her family," Felix explained, causing his leader to sigh. "Why? She's a girl," Pan said the word bitterly. He was still angry that the shadow brought him such a thing.

"Y/n's like me, she doesn't like people. We can show her that not all people are the same, that we're her family."

Pan rolled his eyes, though it seemed to make Felix happy. A happy brother was all he wanted. Yes, Felix was his brother, while the others were just his minions.

"Fine, whatever. She can meet the boys, one at a time, that way it won't be overbearing for the poor creature," he spoke bitterly. He still hated girls, even if Felix cared for her, he didn't.

Y/n was nervous, she tried to run as Felix approached her with a lost boy. She tried to run, but it was as if her feet were glued to the floor. The boy was quiet, only speaking to her about basic, stupid things, like what green looked more nature like, dark or bright.

Felix's plan was simple, she met a new Lost Boy every two moons, two sleeps. She'd spend time with him and the Boy, switching between them. A single lost boy turned into two and after over thirty moons, sleeps, she was with all of them, smiling, laughing along with them and their jokes.

Y/n became a sister to the Lost Boys, surprisingly close to Pan and best friends with Felix, who she, unfortunately, developed feelings for. It was a complete cliche.

Felix sat next to the girl as the Lost Boys were all playing with sticks, the moon and fire their only light source.

It was silent between the two, though Felix felt relaxed next to the girl. He cared for her deeply.

"I never got to thank you." Her voice was barely a whisper, yet he still heard it. He looked down at her, only to notice she was staring at the fire. "You helped me discover a new family, one who loves me for who I am, and doesn't try to change me."

"I care about you," he told her, his eyes staying focused on her. "I'm in love with you." He didn't mean to blurt it out so carelessly, but he was a boy, just a boy. He didn't know how to talk about feelings, especially his own.

She rested her head on his shoulder, a smile on her face. "I love you too," she replied as she finally looked up at him. The two didn't share their first kiss that night, instead, they shared each other's company, which suited them both perfectly.
