Karina's POV

After an awkward silence we spent inside his car for hours, we finally arrived at our destination. After Raven uttered those words, none of us ever spoke nor tried to break the silence that surrounded us the moment he said those.

He gets jealous..

Why would he say that. I'm not his.

"We're here." He mumbled, stopping in front of a big house— no a huge mansion. Their house evolved so damn well. I've been here when I was a child but not so many times because my parents are kinda busy at that time and then we moved. It's been a long time since I visited here.

"Is this the right location?" Raven asked while looking around as I nodded my head. He hummed as the gate opened, allowing us to drive inside.

After parking the car on the side of the house, Raven went out as he circled the car then opened my door. Wow, being a gentleman now?

I stepped outside as I mumbled a soft 'Thanks' to him and he just nodded at me. This really feels so fucking awkward. He shouldn't have said that to me.

"Karinaaaa!!" Someone shouted as we both looked at the direction of a running woman. She's half running towards us with a little child on her arm, her lips is stretched into a wide smile while she approached us.

"Oh my god, long time no see! I missed you so much." She proceeded to hug me tightly even tho she's carrying a child.

"Sophie? Is that you?" I asked, surprised. Her eyes twinkles in amusement as she nodded her head while still smiling. God, she grew up so fucking well. She's so beautiful and stunning.

"I'm so happy we get to meet again. You stopped visiting me and it made me so sad." Sophie pouted her lips as she looked at me with teary eyes. Now I feel so bad.

"I'm so sorry Sophie. It's just, too many things happened to me and I got busy with work and some things in life." I explained as she shakes her head.

"No no, it's fine. Don't say sorry Karina, I just missed you so much." I smiled at her warmly as she does the same. "I missed you too." I replied.

"Oh by the way, this is my daughter Kyla. She'll be turning one year tommorow." She giggles as she held her daughter's little hand then waved it to me. "Kyla, this is your beautiful Aunt Karina. Say hi." Kyla mumbled something as she giggles cutely.

"Hi Kyla, be a good girl always to mommy okay? And nice meeting you. You're so cute." I squealed then patted her head softly as she giggled once more.

I was busy squeezing Kyla's soft cheeks when Sophie decided to noticed Raven. "You're boyfriend?" She suddenly asked as my cheeks reddened like a ripe tomato.

"B-Boyfriend? Eh, N—"

"Yes, I am. It's nice to meet you Sophie, you have such a beautiful daughter like you." Raven cut me as he stepped closer to us, lending his hand for a shake as he introduced himself to my cousin.

"Nice meeting you too! Wait, I recognized you. Aren't you Raven Montgomery!? Oh gosh, I saw you on TV so many times." Sophie squealed and guessed his name before he uttered it. Raven just smiled at her as he nodded his head before filling her more info.

I'm doomed.

Sophie invited us in after chatting with Raven who looks like enjoying what's happening. I followed them from behind while glaring holes on Raven's head. This guy shouldn't have come with me but he fucking insisted and I can't just say no because he's my BOSS.
