CHAPTER 5 - Reunion

Mach and Nasa stood still in the darkness as the rustlings of the woods got louder and louder. Mach looks ready to defend himself as Nasa stays behind his wings. The bushes start shaking vigorously, whatever is coming must be running as fast as it could.

Suddenly a boy pops out of the tight bushes, it was Tenbris! Mach stands in shock and says "I- it's you! You are the guy who blew up that wretched place!" Tenbris looks up and sees Mach standing before him. Tenbris speaks up and says, "You? You escaped! And- wait, who is that behind you?" Nasa comes into view and says, "W- well you guys seem to know each other already, my name's Nasa." Tenbris knew the poor boy was nervous and confused, so he extended his arms out saying "My name is Tenbris, nice to meet you Nasa." Tenbris then shakes Nasa's hands as if he was trying to comfort him but Nasa gets chills, it's as if he was sensing danger from Tenbris. But he shakes his hand nevertheless. He then turns to Mach and says, "I believe you never told me your name."

"Mach. And you're Tenbris I suppose?" Mach says as Tenbris nods his head in agreement. An awkward silence between the boys occurs for a bit. Mach speaks up and says, "Ok, what the hell was that? How did you create a literal explosion? Is that why those insane docs wanted you? And if you could do that why didn't you do it in the first place? You know... when you fought us." Tenbris speaks up and says "Woah bud calm down with the questions. I'm just as clueless as you are. And also" Tenbris then turns to Nasa and says "What about you? What crazy shit did you go through to be here?" Nasa then explains the events that occurred to him.

"I was visiting my secret spot in the woods when I saw a lady sitting at the end of the docks near the lake. She was crying and bruised and I'm not sure but I could almost see through her. I went up close to her and asked what was wrong, but she just kept sobbing and sobbing. Then I tried to reach for her shoulder when she suddenly grabbed me and started yelling about some curse. She then pulls me to the depth of the water and I can see her clearly. She looked beautiful-"

Mach then interrupts "Cut the bullshit and just tell us how the hell you could move water!" Tenbris then says, "Let him continue!'' Nasa proceeds with his story, "That woman was huge underwater, though she had a sad smile on her face. She tried telling me something, but I was blacking out. I didn't know what she was on about, that's when I woke up back at the shore. I tried touching the water when I realized it was moving the direction my hands were! I didn't know what was going on so I kept on doing it until Mach attacked me."

Tenbris and Mach had shocked looks, because of how crazy it was to hear his story, but with all of what has been happening they had no choice but to believe him. I mean what reason do they have not to? One hears a strange voice in his head as the other has feathers grown from the back of him. "Damn, ain't this a long day." Says Mach. "Yeah, it really is." Says Tenbris. "What do we do now? Just try to survive in these woods?" Rustling, suddenly a silhouette appears from beyond the bushes and speaks up.

"I've finally found you."
