CHAPTER 16 - Our Special Suits

Nasa wakes up to find Tenbris and Mach still fast asleep. "Wake up you two, we have to see what this day is about." Tenbris and Mach don't even show a bit of consciousness. Nasa, being impatient, splashes them with water. "Wake up you two! Honestly, such sleepy heads." Mach and Tenbris glare at Nasa when suddenly there is a loud knock on the door.

"Guys, guys! Come downstairs to the laboratory quickly!" They all look at the door in silence as Nasa asks, "Who is this?" The voice replies, "It's Luna, we have a surprise waiting for you!" The boys look at each other. They start heading towards the lab while wondering amongst themselves what this surprise can be. They arrive at the laboratory's door. Tenbris looks at Mach and says, "So, do we need a special introduction here too?" Nasa giggles while Mach says, "Oh piss off you two, will you just forget it already?" Tenbris and Nasa laugh as they go through the door. They find a man wearing a lab coat in the middle of the room and a woman who looks like she's in her early twenties.

The man starts to introduce himself, "Good morning, if it isn't the boys we've heard so much about. Before we get into anything, allow me to introduce myself. I'm doctor Hugo, the brains of this place, and this is professor Leo. I assume you are Tenbris, Nasa, and Mach right?" Mach asks, "How do you even know our names?" Leo answers, "Ever since you've arrived, Zoe wouldn't shut up about you all." Hugo starts speaking, "Well you boys are in for a treat today, let's just wait for Lady to come back." Tenbris remembers, "Oh yeah, I actually didn't see her yesterday." Nasa agrees, "I didn't even realise because of all yesterday's excitement. Where is she by the way?" Hugo smiles and says, "She should be here any moment." As he says that, running could be heard. Mach comments, "I think that's her heading this way." Nasa says, "She must be excited judging by how fast she's running."

Lady bursts into the room with boxes in her hand. "Dr. Hugo! I finished them and they are perfect!" Hugo laughs and says, "Well bring them in already!" Leo steps aside and Lady places three large boxes next to each other. Lady calls the boys, "Ok boys, give me a moment please!" Lady seems to be very excited. Mach asks, "What are these boxes, what's all this excitement for?" Lady says, "Please, give me a moment!" She carries the boxes again and goes to the other room. Rustling can be heard from the other side of the door. Tenbris comments, "Wow, she is a little too excited." Nasa gives an agreeing nod and says, "Yeah, I wonder what's going on over there?" Hugo looks to the boys and says, "Just wait, you guys might just be as excited as her in a few moments." Leo smiles as Hugo says that. Lady then slams the door open, "Ok you three! Come in quickly!" The boys walk towards Lady into the other room. Nasa asks, "So what's got you so excited anyway?"

Lady points in a direction with a big smile on her face and says, "Look over there." The three look and find the brand new suits that Lady has prepared in the last few days. Tenbris and Mach were in shock at how they looked while Nasa asked, "W-which one is for which?" Lady points at a black-purple suit with chains and a cape with long sleeves and a belt running through the shirt, "This one over here is for Tenbris! I got very creative with it and I think it suits your ability." She then points at a maroon thick leather jacket, which also has a pair of goggles attached and some brown trousers. "This one is for Mach! I picked a design that would keep you warm when you fly to high areas and the colouring goes very well with your wings as well." She then points to the last one. The last suit was a creamy brown colour with no sleeves and had a fabric belt holding three water gourds around the waist area. "And lastly, this is for Nasa! The design of this suit is very simple yet I made it to be very comfortable to wear. Also, I added three gourds around the waist for you to keep some extra water if you need some."

The boys were in shock at how good the outfits were. Nasa breaks the silence, "Could we wear them now please?" Lady looks at him and the others, "Are you serious? Of course you can, they're yours. Go ahead and wear them! I also made a few spares in case these get damaged, so don't worry." Tenbris says, "Lady, we can't thank you enough." And Mach joins in, "I swear this is the coolest thing I've ever seen!... Of course other than this huge building being hidden under a cottage and inside this hill, but still!." Lady looks at him for a second and agrees. "I know right? I went all-in with them, to make it a perfect fit, now don't waste any time and just go already!"
