CHAPTER 11 - Bronze Yawns

Tenbris looks up to Zoe and asks, "You know professor I've been wondering, how many weapons do you use when you fight or train?" Zoe gives a smug smile and says, "Well I'm good with most types of weapons. Swords, whips, spears, guns, you name it." Tenbris looks very impressed. "Why did you train with all these types of weapons? I mean mastering one is enough right?"

"You see, most people here have something special about them, even you and your friends, but in my case, I'm just a normal human being. I want to help people and at the same time not be a burden to my teammates. So, I put all my time into mastering every tool that came to my hand." Zoe says as she puts her hand under her chin and gives off a proud giggle. "That's a very admirable thing professor, do you think I'll be able to use a sword as good as you?"

"Oh please, with your dark style and my coaching, you'll be as good as me! Maybe even better." Zoe seems to be eager to see what Tenbris is capable of. Suddenly a loud voice from the distance calls "Hey! You there!" Tenbris looks at the direction from where the voice was coming from. He sees a boy around his age, he also looks like he has some weight put on. "Who's this guy?" Tenbris asks Zoe. "That's one of the other students in the academy. I'll let him introduce himself." The boy goes up to Tenbris and says, "Hey, the way you swung that sword was pretty slick, have you had the experience of handling a weapon before?" Asks the boy forcefully. Tenbris replies "Uhh no, this is the first time I've ever held a sword, who are you anyway?" The boy starts to introduce himself "The name's Ambrus, new kid."

"Uhh, good evening Ambrus, do you mind telling me what's special about you?" Zoe then speaks up, "Actually this is a good opportunity to show off your ability, Ambrus."

"For sure! Here goes!" Ambrus puts his hands together and a long bronze hammer manifests in front of him. "This is my ability, I can create solid objects with a composition similar to bronze. I can even make spikes off the ground, pretty special yeah?" Tenbris looked impressed, "Woah, ok I wasn't expecting that." Ambrus laughs and says, "Well of course! My ability is pretty strong. But there are drawbacks obviously, but before we get into all that, what's your name, new kid?" Tenbris didn't realize he didn't introduce himself, "Oh well my name is Ten-" suddenly a familiar voice calls out to him. "Hey Tenbris where'd you go?!" Tenbris looks behind him to find Nasa and Mach heading his way. Professor Zoe speaks up and says, "Oh sorry boys I had to borrow your friend for a bit." Mach gets a little frustrated and says, "Why would you drag Tenbris alone? Also who the hell is that dorky dude standing there?" Ambrus looks at Mach with a frustrated look, "H-HEY! Who are you calling a dork, chicken wings?!" Mach gets even more furated, "HUH? You wanna go right now?!"

"I don't have a problem, let's go then!" Ambrus and Mach forehead are basically ramming into each other. Nasa tries to calm the situation down, "Y-you guys calm down! Let's all just take a deep breath, ok?" Tenbris tries to back up Nasa, "He's right you know, It's a little too early to be fighting amongst ourselves, so we should really just try to get along." Ambrus and Mach look at Tenbris then look at each other. Mach speaks up and says, "I'm not wasting my precious time doing something completely worthless." To which Ambrus replies, "That's something I can agree on." They both give each other a very intimidating glare. Zoe starts laughing, "Hahahaha! You lot sure are a lively bunch. I can't wait for you to meet the others." "I'm kinda nervous," says Nasa. "Don't worry Nasa, I'm sure not everyone is a complete airhead like Mr. Potato here." Mach looks at Ambrus while saying that. "What did you just call me you little sh-"

"Will you guys calm down already?" Tenbris cuts in to save the situation before it gets out of control. Zoe starts to speak again, "So Tenbris, Mach and Nasa. You three want to help the outside world and find the truth, right?" Zoe asks with an enthusiastic tone to which the three boys reply with "Yes we do!" Zoe smiles, "I already knew your answer, so you lot will meet the others tomorrow in these training grounds. Not just the students, but the people who will help you develop your skills and help you reach greater heights!"

"Who are these people exactly?" Asks Nasa, "You'll find out soon enough. It's getting kinda late, so you boys need to rest up. You got a big day ahead of you!" She turns to look at Ambrus. "You too Ambrus, go and join the others." Ambrus replies, "Yeah sure, I'll see you guys tomorrow then." Tenbris replies, "It was nice meeting you, Ambrus, and I look forward to getting to know you and the others." Ambrus smiles, "Yeah same here, I'm excited to see what you newbies are capable of." Mach scoffs, "Whatever, can we prepare for tomorrow already?" Nasa replies, "Yeah yeah you winged meanie let's go." Zoe looks up to the boys and says, "Well lads that's the end for today, rest well." The boys go their separate ways to their rooms and rest for the night.
