CHAPTER 17 - Training Begins

Hope and the other girls are sitting around the dining area, they seem to have a few conversations with each other. Hope seems to be at a loss of thought while she stares out the dining room window. She sees the boys running tracks and seems to be staring at them.

Luna interrupts her, "Hey Hope, what are you looking at?" Hope jumps as she wasn't expecting Luna to ask so suddenly, "W-what? No no, it's nothing." Luna looks out the window and sees the boys talking with each other after running, "Oh yeah, these guys started training today didn't they?" The other girls look too. Reyna comments "Honestly, why do we need more people in this place? We already have enough people as it is." Luna disagrees, "Oh come on Reyna, we can always welcome a few more under this place." Reyna scoffs, "Luna please, we don't need any more complications in this place." Hope seems to get a little frustrated with Reyna's comment.

"Why do you always act so cold towards them, Reyna? They haven't done anything wrong." Reyna looks at Hope, "Oh yeah? You seem to have a liking for these new guys, especially that stubborn one with wings." Hope gets flustered, "W-what?! No! I-i just wanted to give them a warm welcome that's all!" Jazz stares at Hope as she says that, sipping on her drink very loudly. "What are you looking at?!" Asks Hope while feeling very embarrassed. Luna interrupts, "Come on guys no need to get so serious about this, and Reyna, please try and be a little nicer to the new kids, they have been through just as much as we've been through." Reyna rolls her eyes, "Fine, but don't expect too much."

Cut back to the main trio in the training ground. "Hey that was a good run guys, am I right?" Asks Mach while he is dripping in his own sweat. Tenbris answers, trying to catch his breath, "I haven't run this much in a long time." Nasa, feeling exhausted, says, "Yeah, we- really are- out of shape." Mach then says, "We ran for like thirty minutes, that's not bad at all!" Tenbris, feeling a little sour after the long run, "Whatever man, can we just do some stretches and shower already? I am drowning in my own sweat here!" Nasa smiles and agrees, "Yeah, we need to catch up with the others at the gym too." Mach realizes this and says, "Yeah true, let's finish this up and go to the others."

The boys do their stretches, shower, and start getting dressed. "You know, I still can't get over how cool these clothes are." Tenbris smiles, "Yeah, but I really should get used to putting it on- Woah!" Tenbris falls on the floor while trying to get into his outfit. Nasa and Mach laugh, "You know, your outfit looks really cool when you're wearing it, but you look clumsy when you're trying to put it on." Says Nasa while laughing. Tenbris gets a little embarrassed "Oh shut it! Let's get this over with and-"

A knock can be heard from the door "Hey you guys! Are you ready yet?" It was Ambrus. Tenbris quickly gets up and wears his outfit and replies, "We're coming Ambrus, give us a sec!" The boys go out and meet Ambrus at the door. "You guys ready?" Ambrus says, "Yeah, I'll just grab my sword and-" Tenbris was cut off by Mach's grunting, "These damn wings are in the way! How am I supposed to put on jackets without, damn, struggling!" The boys look at him as Ambrus says, "I think Lady forgot to consider something important while making your jacket, your wings." Mach looks at him as if it was obvious, "Well then take this to Lady and ask her to make the hoops on the back bigger than they are." Ambrus replies, "Your jacket can wait, let's hit the gym and after that, you can go to Lady yourself and hand her your problem."

Tenbris asks, "Are the others coming?" Ambrus replies right before he walks down the hall, "Vox, Flucht, and Lotan are already there. Now come on, let's not make them wait too long." Ambrus walks off as the three follow him to the gym. When they entered the gym room they could spot Vox pulling weight as Flucht and Lotan were working on some sit-ups, dripping with sweat. Vox and the others stop training and walk towards Ambrus and the trio. "You all know what to do, right?" The boys look at each other, unsure of their answer. "I'm sure we'll figure it out." Mach says walking further in the gym as Flucht holds his shoulder, stopping him, "We'll show you how to use them, we don't want you three messing around with these equipment, they were difficult to get." Mach and the others agreed as they thought they'd learn a thing or two.
