CHAPTER 13 - Classmates Battles

Before everyone leaves, a boy who looks quite sleepy walks into the room. "Mhmm, what is all this commission about?" Zoe looks at the boy and says, "Ah Fluct! It's nice to see you decided to join us!" The boy who seemed to be named Fluct looks at the trio. "So, you must be the new ones to join right?" Tenbris speaks up while Mach and Nasa stand beside him. "Well yes, my name is Tenbris, this is Mach and Nasa." Mach spreads his wings to show off while Nasa gives Fluct a little wave. "Well it's nice to meet you guys, I heard that everyone is going to the field to show what they are capable of right?" Nasa and Mach, at the same time say, "That's right." They both seem excited to see what everyone is capable of and want to show off their own abilities. Zoe calls out to everyone, "Ok everyone listen up! We will have something like a tournament where each one of you will get to fight each other and show what you've got! Now remember, this is all training, so don't go too far, got it?" Everyone enthusiastically agrees. Zoe then invites everyone to go outside "Ok then, everyone head outside!"

Everyone goes out to the training field to start training with each other. Zoe starts announcing "Ok so the first battle will be between Jazz and Mach!" Mach flies to the training ground to show off his flying skills which capture everyone's attention, "Wow, his wings look majestic." Hope says while her eyes are fixated on Mach's wings. Nasa then says, "Yeah, but I wish his personality would fit that description too." Jazz walks into the training field looking very serious and intimidating. They both stand opposite of each other. "You know, I'm not the type of dude to hit women, so why not just back off and accept that you are outmatched?" Jazz gives Mach a serious look. "Tch. don't make me laugh." Jazz proceeds to pull out two handguns from her waist belt with style. Mach's tone changes completely "Oook... I didn't know we were fighting to death now..." Zoe yells from a distance "Don't worry! She is using rubber bullets!" Mach replies, "She is still using a lethal weapon though!"

Jazz gives off a scoff and says, "What's wrong? Did your chicken nerves start to come out?" Mach spreads his wings as far as he can to make himself look bigger. "Oh, it's on you emo bitch." Zoe can be heard from a distance "Ok, you both ready? one, two, three begin!" Mach immediately flies high up at high speeds and circles around Jazz while she just watches closely. Nasa points out, "Hey, isn't Mach faster than last time?" Tenbris answers his question, "I think he is trying harder than before, because Jazz insulted him." Reyna adds, "Your friend looks tough, but there is no way he's going to beat Jazz like this." Tenbris and Nasa give Reyna a curious look. Mach swoops down to punch Jazz at very high speeds but Jazz dodges his attack with ease as if she read his movements. Mach thinks to himself, how the hell did she dodge that? Was I too slow? No matter. I'll just keep diving in for attacks. Mach keeps throwing himself at Jazz, but her movements are very sharp and dodges every attack with grace. "Wow she's good," Says Tenbris. "This isn't over yet, keep watching." Says Luna while crossing her arms. Mach started thinking of other ways to attack, Ok if one attack doesn't work I'll try a flurry of kicks then! Mach dives into Jazz and starts throwing swift kicks at her. Jazz starts to move quicker as if she's taking the fight more seriously yet none of Mach's kicks even graze her.

"Did you guys figure it out yet?" Zoe asks Nasa and Tenbris. "I don't know. Can she read his movements?" Nasa suggests, "I don't think that's it, look at how her eyes move. It stares at Mach for a good while then starts moving all over the place as if she was reacting to something." Tenbris's suggestion impresses the others, "Wow nice observation Tenbris." Lotan adds. Reyna cuts in. "Shh, keep watching." Mach starts getting really frustrated. Ok then! I'll use this move I learned back at that sicko's lab. Jazz notices a grin coming off of Mach, he has a plan, I need to be careful.

Mach flies above Jazz and shouts "Wow I'm impressed! You really are a good fighter, but I wonder how you will deal with this!" Mach starts flying in a circle at extremely high speeds to the point that he creates a wind current fast enough to throw someone off. The others could feel the wind too, "Wow, was Mach always capable of doing this?!" Nasa asks shockingly. "Well he was trained before, so I guess we still don't know what he can do," Tenbris says while partially covering his face. Lotan, Hope, and Luna look extremely impressed while Zoe was surprised at what she was witnessing.
