The next morning, the boys met in Mike's basement once again, devising a plan.

"We just tell our parents we have AV Club after school. That'll give us at least a few hours for Operation Mirkwood." Mike nods.

"You seriously think that the weirdo knows where Will is?" Lucas asks.

"It's our last hope, she's all we got," Ethan shrugs.

Dustin turns to Ethan. "Do you guys have different powers? Can't you find him yourself?"

Ethan shakes his head. "I don't remember much about the lab anymore, but... not all of us shared the same powers. El, if I can remember correctly, can enter the void. She can see things, even far away, in her mind. I'm assuming she did that and saw Will. I can't do that. They had me working on other abilities, or something. I'm not sure."

Dustin nods.

"You got the supplies?" Mike asks Lucas.

"Yep," He reached into his bag pulling out some items,"Binoculars... from 'Nam," he set them on the table, "Army knife... also from 'Nam. Hammer, camouflage bandana.. and the wrist rocket" he smiles.

"You're gonna take out the Demogorgon with a slingshot?" Dustin challenged.

"First of all, it's a wrist rocket. And second of all, the Demogorgon's not real." he replies.

"But if there is some creature?..." Ethan drawled.

"I'm gonna shoot it in the eye.." Lucas pulled back the string and let it make a popping noise, "-and blind it"

Mike sighed, "Dustin, what'd you get?"

Dustin poured his bag out on the table, revealing many snacks, Pringles, candies, fruits, etc.

The boys looked at each other in a knowing look of 'Is he serious?'

"Seriously?" Lucas asked.

"We need energy for our travels. For stamina. And besides, why do we need weapons anyway? We have her" Dustin questioned, pointing to El. "And Ethan."

"She shut one door!" Lucas exclaimed

"Plus if she's like me, she'll get drained and her telekinesis shit won't work for an extended amount of time." Ethan explained. "It's like a battery, you can't waste it."

"Fine" Dustin surrendered.

"You?" Mike asked Ethan.

He reached into his backpack, showing some Coke and apple juice, a matchbox, a few flashlights, and $50 he stole from his mom's nightstand.

"At least someone packed useful items," Lucas shades.

"Go fall in a ditch!"

"Boys! Time for school!" Mike's mom shouted from upstairs
