"What do you mean she tapped into him singing The Clash?" Ethan signed

"I don't know, but we gotta go get Dustin, c'mon" Lucas said, nodding off to their bikes. 

Ethan called to his mom to say he'd be back later and ran out the door to his bike. They quickly got Dustin from his place and met up at Mike's, and snuck in through the back door into the basement, just in case his mom was home.

"Oh! Hey" Mike greeted, looking over from the book he was reading on the floor.

"Okay, what happened?" Ethan asked "There is no way she tapped into Will" he spoke in disbelief, looking at El as he steps into the house.

"Sit. She was just messing with the buttons and channels and it just, happened" Mike explained

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. We kept losing the channel, but you heard it, right?" He turned to Lucas

"Yeah, I heard a baby"

"What?"

"Mike, she obviously tapped into a baby monitor. It's probably the Blackburns' next door"

"Uhm, did that sound like a baby to you?"

"Also what baby knows Should I Stay Or Should I Go by The Clash?" Ethan added

"Guys.."

"Lucas, you don't understand. He spoke last night. Words! Even El heard him"

"Oh well, if the weirdo heard him then I guess-"

"Are you sure your on the right channel?" Dustin interrupted

"I don't think it's about that. I think somehow, she's channeling him"

"Like... like Professor X"

"Yeah"

"Are you actually believing this crap?" Lucas interrupted

"I dunno, I mean... You remember when Will fell off his bike and broke his finger? He sounded a lot like that" Dustin defended

"Did you guys not see what I saw? They pulled Will's body out of the water. He's dead!" Lucas argued

"Maybe it's his ghost. Maybe he's haunting us."

"It's not his ghost" Mike confirmed

"How do you know that?" Lucas asked

"Maybe his body was a fake?" Ethan commented

"No- look, all we know is Will is alive" Mike spoke

"How's the body not fake then?" Ethan asked

"Look, he's out there somewhere. All we gotta do is find him" Mike declared

El was messing with Mike's walkie when he pulled it away from her, Ethan guesses she was making lots of noise with it.

"This isn't gonna work. We need to get El to a stronger radio" Mike sighed

"Uh, maybe the new one at school?" Ethan suggests with a shrug

"Yeah" Mike agreed

"The Heathkit's at school" Lucas emphasized, "There's no way we're gonna get the weirdo in there without anyone noticing."

"I mean look at her"

Lucas, Mike, and Dustin look at El, and she looks back, confused. Ethan raises an eyebrow, placing the mental puzzle pieces together in his head before looking up at them.

Ethan smirks, looking at El, and back to Dustin, Lucas, and Mike. "Yes there is"
