...
Somewhere in a peaceful village...
Arifu POV
Everything was doing just fine, the sound of birds chirping, kids giggling and people talking. Even though our village is not that big, we were happy. Well, that is when I realised that happiness doesn't last forever...
...
It was 6:30 PM and the sun was about to set, Arifu was about to head off into the village to buy some groceries.
Arifu: Mom! I'm going to buy groceries, okay?
Nagisa: Alright, Honey. Stay safe!
So he went off to the village and passed by his dad outside of his house, cutting wood.
Kimizuka: Arifu! Stay on the path, alright?
Arifu: I will, Dad!
They live on top of a hill, a few hundred metres from a village. After some time, he arrived at the village as the sun was starting to set.
Old Lady: Arifu, where are you going at this time?
Arifu: Oh, I was going to buy groceries.
Old Lady: Alright, stay safe!
Arifu: You too!
...
Timeskip
Arifu had bought all of the necessary groceries and is now almost back home. When he was nearing his house...
Arifu: Why do I hear shouting?! And the door's wide open!
He ran towards his house and was shocked, he saw his father holding a katana that is pointed at a demon with weird markings on his body and face.
Kimizuka: SON, RUN! RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!
Demon: Hm?
The demon turned around and Arifu got a good look at his face, there were writing on his eyeballs that mean "Upper Moon 3."
Arifu: He's part of the 12 Kizuki, I need to run!
Timeskip (Again)
Arifu has been walking for hours now, he is now all alone in a forest and it looks like it's almost midnight.
Arifu: Can't...take...it...any...more...
He fell down and started to pass out but he could see a blurry image of a man growing closer.
Arifu: Who...are...you...?
He muttered as he passes out.
A/N: Alright so that is gonna be it for the prologue! Sorry if it is too short...
