Chapter 41 - Fishy Fight

A/N: I won't write the fight against Hantengu cuz the story will be mostly focused on where Arifu is at.

Arifu went out of his room after having fun with Mitsuri (Haha, that'll be another chapter😳) to get some fresh air before hearing multiple explosions and someone getting flung out far from a building.

"Wait... Ain't that Muichiro-kun?" Arifu focused his eyes before seeing a perfect image of the Mist Hashira, Tokito Muichiro.

He immediately put on his uniform, haori and got his sword after telling Mitsuri about the situation before dashing towards Muichiro's direction in full speed and caught him before he hit the ground.

"Huh, who are you?" Muichiro asked,

"It's me, Arifu, the Void Hashira." Arifu sweatdropped at his memory,

"Ohh, you're that really strong guy at the Hashira Meeting..." he remembered,

'Oh, he remembered?' Arifu thought,

"Anyway, what happened?" Arifu asked,

"There's an Upper Moon here... He threw me out really far, I have to get back now." Muichiro replied,

"I'll help." Arifu stated and Muichiro simply nodded before both of them dashed towards the direction where the demon is supposed to be.

'Oh, a kid and a demon,' Muichiro noticed in front of him,

'He isn't skilled in his craft, saving him would be low priority...'

'Judging from its presence, this isn't the real demon, just one of its summons.'

'I have no reason to stop here, gotta save the highest priority ones like the chief.'

He suddenly remembered what Tanjiro said to him when he was searching for the special sword Mitsuri talked about,

"Helping other people ends up being beneficial for you at the end of the day." Tanjiro smiled,

Muichiro was about to save him but heard the sound of a sword swing and found the demon already dead and the kid in Arifu's arms,

'So fast...' He thought,

"You alright, kid?" Arifu asked,

"WAAA!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" The kid thanked,

"If everything's fine, we're gonna go." Arifu was about to run off but the kid tugged at his haori,

"Wait!! Kanamori-san's under attack too! Haganezuka-san's been working non-stop on the blade, so please help!!"

"Got it. Let's go, Muichiro-kun." Arifu said,

Muichiro hesitated a bit before agreeing.

Arifu picked up the kid before dashing towards the direction that the kid said,

"AHHHH!! Can't we go a bit slower?"

"Nope, you might wanna keep your mouth shut or you'll bite your tongue off." Arifu chuckled,
