Chapter 62: The endgame
They journeyed through Berkshire with ease, then stopped in Wiltshire for the night.
"Malfoy Manor is half a mile away from this hotel," said Merielle as they entered the foyer.
"Would we be allowed to see it?" Asked Narcissa. Hermione was checking in for their rooms at reception.
"Afraid not," answered Harry. The Malfoys nodded.
"Well, here are the keys to your rooms." Hermione handed Lucius and Narcissa a key, Draco the second, Harry and Julian the third, another one for Merielle, and the final one for herself.
"They say the restaurant in the hotel serves dinner at half five till half eight, so just go down whenever you want," explained Hermione, "We'll see the three of you in the morning for breakfast at eight." This last sentence was directed at the Malfoys.

Merielle exited the en suite bathroom. A towel was wrapped around her body and another one was around her damp hair. Dinner had been her, Hermione, Harry and Julian. The Malfoys had had dinner after them. She looked out the window. The night sky was a deep blue, littered with diamond stars. An almost-full moon glowed in the sky. She shivered. Tomorrow night would be the full moon. And maybe it was just her superstitions, but she couldn't help but feel that something was coming.
And in a way it was. They would be in Gloucestershire tomorrow, awaiting the Darkslayer. The endgame.
She tried to reassure herself that this was nothing like Voldemort. They were going to stop the Darkslayer before he reached the height of his powers. He couldn't be that dangerous. But the thing was, he was trying to finish what Voldemort started. That sent shivers up her spine. She had a few suspicions what it could mean.
Voldemort's Horcruxes?
His Pureblood supremacy?
Enslaving the entire wizarding community?
Kill Harry Potter?
All of these ideas were valid. Then there was a knock on her door. Merielle glanced across the room to her clothes. Who was it?
"It's me," came a familiar voice, "I'm going to come in."
She rolled her eyes. "Instead of asking like a normal person, you demand."
"Well, that's what makes me me," came Draco's arrogant voice as he shut the door behind him. His eyes widened.
"Oh, you're just in a...I didn't know that you..." Frankly, he was lost for words.
"Enjoy the view?" she teased. Merielle pulled away the towel around her head. Mesmerised, Draco watched the damp locks of her hair cascade down around her towelled body.
"Now the other one," he growled lowly. She smirked widely, shaking her head.
In quick, long strides Draco was millimetres before her, gripping her tightly. Merielle's heart beat faster as she took in his dark irises, his heavy breathing, and the way his hands gripped her.
"You're not going to do it?" he breathed, "Well then I'll have to do it for you." He attacked her lips in an onslaught of kisses, causing Merielle to squirm in his arms. Ah, those delicious lips again. She wound his hair in her fingers, then jumped as one of his hands began to crawl up her thigh and under the towel. His hand cupped her bare heat, feeling her juices run through his fingers.
"So wet for me already, babe?" he murmured huskily. Merielle moaned as his fingers stroked against her pussy rhythmically. Then one of them entered her as she spread her legs, wrapping them around his waist. He continued to kiss her as he inserted another finger and began to move inside her. His fingers worked within her walls expertly, swirling inside her and making her hips stutter and buck against his fingers. Merielle threw her head back in pleasure. He drew a deep moan from her lips.
