Abby was on her way to her locker when she spotted Liv. She ran up to Liv and hugged her. "Happy Birthday Liv!!!". Liv was happy Abby was there. "Here's your present." Abby handed Liv a wrapped gift. Liv opened it, inside there was a picture of Liv,Abby, and Layla laughing together. There was also a matching best friend bracelet. Abby was already wearing hers. "I love it" Liv hugged Abby again. Abby helped Liv put her bracelet on. "Oh no, here comes Layla, she's probably still mad at me" Layla walked up to them. Abby caught up with Liv through text last night on how Liv and Spencer tried to have Layla committed. Abby agreed Layla was acting different, but she didn't want Layla to see her as another friend trying to bring her down. Layla hugged Liv. "Happy Birthday Twin Number One" Liv was surprised Layla hugged her. "I still can't believe your mom canceled your party" Layla spoke up. "it's okay" Liv didn't really care about a party. "we'll make up for it next year" Layla walked away to go tell Jordan happy birthday. "She seems fine" Abby shrugged her shoulders. "I tried to have her committed yesterday and she just gave me a hug, that is not fine." Abby agreed but decided not to say anything. "I have to go talk to Jordan" Abby walked away to Jordan's locker.

Abby walked up to Jordan with a big smile. "Happy Birthday Jordan!!!" Abby hugged Jordan. "thank you baby" Jordan had on a big smile. "your present will be at your house after school" Abby had her hands on Jordan's chest. "I'll be there too" Abby smirked. "I can't wait" Jordan kissed Abby. They got interrupted by Jordan's phone ringing. Jordan ignored it. It ringed again. "Someone is really trying to get your attention" Abby spoke up. "I know, it's just a random number" Jordan lied. "Well i have to go to class, don't forget your house after school" Abby walked to class. Abby was excited to give Jordan's his presents. She had a plan to decorate Jordan's room with balloons and set out the presents she bought him on his bed. During class Abby got a text from Layla inviting her to Jordan's and Liv's surprise birthday party.

After school Abby got to the Baker's house and started decorating Jordan's room. She decided to put up blue and gold balloons (beverly colors). Abby set out the presents she got Jordan. She got him a pair of Air Jordan Ones, a small keychain with Jordan's jersey number #1, and in small writing it read "in my heart". Abby's favorite present she got him was probably the printed photo of them two at the beach. Abby was waiting for Jordan to get home, she thought they could both go to his surprise party together.

Abby was getting impatient. Jordan was taking too long to get home. Abby decided to call him. "Jordan where are you at?" Abby sighed. "I am so sorry Abby. JJ kidnapped me and liv and brought us to his house. Layla set up a surprise party for both of us." Abby was upset Jordan did not come home first. "I wanted us to go together" Abby decided to forget about her feelings and let it go. "I'm sorry baby" Jordan apologized. "it's okay. i'm going to go look for Spencer for we can go together. i'll see you later" Abby was over this party but she was still going to try and enjoy it. Abby texted Spencer to meet her at Crenshaw Cafe. She left Jordan's room with a sad face. Abby put all her effort in to surprising Jordan with gifts, just for him to disappoint her.

Abby got to the cafe where Spencer said he'd meet her. Abby had her camera with her so she decided to take pictures of strangers. She though her pictures looked best when people were not looking at the camera. Abby captured their emotions better this way. As she was taking pictures, she spotted a boy concentrated on his homework. Abby started taking pictures of him, the light was hitting his face perfectly. The tall, handsome boy looked up and spotted Abby. Abby froze. The boy just smiled. Abby took one last pic before putting her camera down. "Are you going to introduce yourself or just keep taking pictures of me" The boy spoke up. "Omg, i'm so sorry. My name is Abby, i was just bored waiting for my friend. The light is just hitting you so perfect in this spot. I promise i'm not a creep" Abby admitted. "It's all good. I'm Darnell" Abby and Darnell shook hands. Abby was shocked to hear his name. This was Spencer's dad step son. Darnell noticed her reaction. "So you've heard my name?" Darnell asked. "Yup, I'm Spencer's friend and he tells me everything." Abby felt awkward now. "I hope you don't judge me of what one person is saying about me. I'm not a bad person" Darnell looked sad. "I won't i promise" Abby smiled at Darnell. Abby did not know how Spencer would react if he saw her talking to him. "So can I see the pictures you took of me?" Darnell asked. "Yes, of course" Abby got closer to Darnell and started showing him the pictures. "Wow, these are really good. I already look good, you just made me look better" Darnell laughed. "Oh please" Abby shoved his shoulder. Darnell started gathering his belonging to leave. "I have to go Abby it was nice meeting you, I hope I see you again" Darnell grabbed her hand and kissed it. Abby was blushing hard. "Yeah, you too. See you around" Abby turned around before Darnell could notice her big smile. Abby got a text from Spencer saying he was not going to make it to the party. Abby decided to go by herself.
