WHO?!?!

"Who are you?!"

The voice was VERY familiar to Cassie, she shot up off the couch. "Nathan!" she gasps and walks over to the door. "Hey kid" He smiles "Who??" Bryan asks looking between Cassie and the man standing in the doorway.

"Bryan, this is my brother, Nathan" Cassie smiles "I thought you didn't have anything to do with your family" "Well, I don't but my brother and sisters, still sometimes talk to me" Cassie says getting a little nervous, Bryan only nods and goes back to the couch. "Nate, this is my boyfriend, Bryan" Cassie says quietly. "Nice to meet you" Bryan again only nods. Cassie shoots him a slight glare as she sits beside him. "What are you doing here?" Cassie asks "Well, I was here for work and I remembered you was here with Uncle Hank so I thought I'd stop by and see you, but when I got there you weren't there. Uncle Hank said you had your own place and was making you way up in the world." Nathan explained "Yeah, much better that I would be in Missouri" Cassie states "Ya know Mom and
Dad do still love you" Nathan says softly "And I love them too but, I'm not getting into this" Cassie says calmly "I'm just saying" Nathan says with a slight eye roll "Yeah and she's just saying she's not talking about it" Bryan butts in, standing up "No one asked you nerd and if I want her to come home she'll come home" Nathan glares, Bryan takes a deep breath and goes to walk away, so he didn't do something he'd regret, until he's grabbed. "Don't walk away from me" Nathan all but yells, Bryan turns around and punches him in the face, so hard it knocked him back a bit. "You will NOT come into someone else's house and try to make them feel guilty for living their best life and you most definitely will NOT do it in front of me, especially when talking to my girlfriend. She doesn't need your toxic family and she sure as a hell doesn't need you! So if you're going to continue to make her feel like shit, you can leave!" Bryan says before shoving Nathan back down in the chair he was in and walking away.

Nathan and Cassie sat there quietly, Cassie was slightly turned on, no one had ever done that for her before and she found angry Bryan, slightly hot. "Well he's a mouthpiece" Nathan states "Yeah, and he put your ass in your place" Cassie giggles, only annoying Nathan more. "You wanna meet for lunch tomorrow?" He asks "Sure what time?" Cassie smiles, she didn't hate her family she just hated the things they did. "1:30, and probably at Hank's Diner" Nathan says and gets up to leave. "Hey, I do love them, but I've tried to get ahold of them, Mom and Dad both look at my messages and never reply, You and the girls are the only ones I talk to, and Maria barely remembers me because she was 5 when I got kicked out" Cassie explains "Well, Cara and Bella want to come with me on my next trip which is next month, they won't be able to stay with me so would you be okay with them staying with you?" Nathan asks "Yeah that's fine just let me know when you get to town, and if you can bring Maria too" "I'll try my best. I love you Sis" Nathan sighs and hugs Cassie, Cassie smiles softly and leans into her brother taking in his oh so comforting scent. "Love you too Beebs" She smiles "Haven't heard that in a while" Nathan smiles, Cassie stays quiet and holds onto her brother tightly. "Alright I gotta get going" Nathan says softly, letting Cassie go "Okay, be careful" Cassie smiles.

After Nathan left, Cassie went to find Bryan. She found him sitting on the back porch, still angry. "You doing okay?" Cassie asks softly. "Peachy" Bryan states. Cassie sighs and puts Bryan's arm around her and leans into him.

"Why didn't you tell me about all this?" Bryan asks "I did, and I'd rather not have much to do with them because every time I talk to him he brings up Mom and Dad, next month he's gonna bring the girls up and they can't stay with him so I told him they could stay with me" Cassie explains "The girls are much nicer than he is" Bryan only nods and kisses her head "I'm sorry if I got out of line" He says softly "You didn't... It was kinda hot if I'm being completely honest with you" Cassie smiles. Bryan smiles back and kisses her lips softly. "Let's go to bed, I know we've slept a lot the past couple days but I'm tired" Cassie smiles softly, biting her lip. "I feel like you have a bit more in mind than sleep" Bryan chuckles. "What me? Neverrr" Cassie giggles "Uh huh, let's go" Bryan smiles and picks her up, earning more giggles. Cassie clings to Bryan as the walk inside and go to the bedroom.

Once in the bedroom Bryan flops down in the bed, with Cassie in his arms. "Bryyyyaan" Cassie giggles "Yes love?" Bryan asks "Let's just cuddle" She says softly and snuggles into his chest. "I like the sound of that" Bryan smiles and rolls onto his side and holds Cassie as close as he possibly can before they knew it Cassie was sound asleep.
