Back To Work

*Five Years Later*

Cassie, rolls out of bed to her alarm, she looks over and sees Bryan still sound asleep, Cassie smiles softly and kisses his cheek before getting up.

Today was the day, Bryan and Cassie get back to work and Mia starts school, Bryan and Cassie had taken a few years off to spend as much family time as they could with Mia and everyone else, Cassie had made amends with her parents, they even came to the hospital to see Cassie and Mia. Bryan sold his house and bought Cassie's dream house.

Cassie makes her way to the kitchen and begins making breakfast.

Once breakfast was on the table Cassie goes upstairs and wakes up Bryan, then Mia. "Are you excited for your first day at school?" Bryan asks, coming up behind Cassie who was holding Mia. "No... I don't wanna go" Mia pouts. "Awe Baby, you'll do great" Bryan smiles softly.

Cassie smiles as she listens to Mia and Bryan conversate, she sits down and quietly eats happily.

"Hey Mommy" Mia says with a questioning tone.

"Yes Baby?" Cassie asks.

"I haved a dream that Daddy wasn't my Daddy and my Daddy was a meanie" Mia says.

Cassie and Bryan just look at one another with wide eyes.

"Actually sweetheart... Bryan, or Daddy... isn't really your Daddy by blood... Your real Daddy was a very mean man" Cassie explains.

"Oh... Did he hurt you Mommy?" Mia asks.

"He did but we don't have to worry about him anymore okay?" Cassie smiles, Mia nods and slides out of her chair and walks over to Bryan. "So you're my good Daddy" she smiles. "Yes Baby" Bryan chuckle.

After breakfast, Cassie got Mia dressed and ready for school before going to hers and Bryan's bedroom to get dressed in her waitressing uniform. Although she didn't need to work, with Bryan streaming as well as her streaming, she still enjoyed waitressing job at Hank's and now that she's the owner, she can make up her own hours.

"Okay Bry, we're heading out, Mia will be home about 1 and I'll be home at 5:30, dinner's in the crokpot" Cassie says as she walks downstairs with Mia in her arms. "Okay Babe, be careful. I love you both" Bryan smiles softly, kissing Mia on the forehead and Cassie on the lips. "I'm gonna go get groceries today and pay a few bills before I stream since it will probably be a long one" Bryan informs. "Okay, Just make sure you're here when Mia get's off the bus because if there's no sign of you being here, they'll take her back to the school."

"Cassie Baby, I'll be here, it wont take me long, we don't need much and there's only like two bills to pay. the rest I can pay online, you're gonna be late, go I got everything" Bryan chuckles. "Okay, Okay... I just don't want Mia's first day at school to consist of staying at school until we go get her, that would look really bad on us... I mean I guess I could have them take her to the-" Bryan cuts Cassie off with a soft kiss. "Stop, She can get off the bus here and it will be okay, I promise" "Okay, I'm sorry, I'm just freaking out" Cassie sighs. "Hey, it's gonna be okay, just stay calm" Bryan says softly. "You need to go or you're gonna be late." "Okay, I love you and I'll see you tonight" "I love you too, and I love you Mia" Bryan smiles "Love you Daddy" Mia smiles, with that Mia and Cassie left.

The day had gone by pretty fast for Cassie, she was having a really good day at work, everyone seemed happy to have her back, even the customers.

Bryan's day gone by quickly as well , he got groceries, paid the few bills that needed paid, and started his stream, he done that until about 12:30, then made lunch before getting Mia off the bus at 1.
