Kinda late but here it is.....

Cassie groans and leans her head against the wall as she waits for her stage.

"Hey Kid, what are you doing out here?" Cassie hears a familiar voice ask.

Looking up she sees her best and only friend Shannon Logan, wearing a loose Beast Boy classic graphic black tee, with black cargo shorts with many pockets full of whatever he may need, along with some little trinkets he bought throughout the day, he had on black steel cap sneakers, along with a black ring that he often plays with when he gets nervous. He has a stocky build, broad shoulders, he was tall with a "bearish" look but slightly chubby with long shoulder length blue hair and a little bit of facial hair.

"Hey Shan... The bitch before me was late and caused my panel to get pushed back..."

"This is the second fucking time this has happened! You've got to do something about it"

"I know but I'm trying to avoid drama because you know just as well as I do that she'll so anything and everything to fuck me up"

"I know... I'm sorry Cassie... You're Uncle can't do anything either because she's not done anything illegal?"

"Nope... nothing... now if she physically assaults me then that would be a different story"

"But she's not stupid enough to..."

"No, and she knows I'll kick her ass"

"True... Hey, I gotta go, Let me know how it goes"

"I will... I'll see you later Shan"

Cassie grew up kinda like an only child, yes she has siblings, she has an older brother, an older sister and a younger sister but when she got disowned and moved in with Hank, it was just her and Hank and later on Hank's boyfriend. Cassie met Shannon through Twitch and when they finally met in person he became her best and only friend, and through the years he became more of a brother to her. He was always there for her when she needed him most, he even lived with her for a while when he moved closer until he found his own place. Though he looks rough around the edges Shannon has a heart of gold that has been through some tough both mentally and physical. He does tend to get nervous a bit in situations and has a black ring with Celtic knots around it with he tends to move and rub alot on his right ring finger. He like going out and 'people watch', but loves being out in nature when hes not on Twitch.

Finally after the other girl was done, Cassie was ready to go up.

She found that everyone was ready for the other girl to leave and that she kept trying to talk bad about her but someone in the audience stood her up, which made her extremely happy.

Jack and Bryan were headed down to get something to eat when Bryan heard Cassies intro and stops Jack. "Can we please?" He asks "Yeah, let's go" Jack smiles, knowing Bryan had already fallen and wasn't letting up any time soon....

Cassie was answering questions when Bryan and Jack came in, her cheeks turn bright red when she made eye contact with Bryan, she quickly looked away.

"Um, you, with the pink hair" Cassie smile

"You are a terrible person, because of you my daughter hates me"

"No, all due respect ma'am... Because of me your SON, gained some independence and done something that made him twice as happy" Cassie retorts calmly.

"She is a girl!!"

"Correction, he is a boy... Ma'am, your daughter loved you and always did but now she love you as your son, he never hated you, he just distanced himself until you come around and seen he's finally happy"

"Because of you my daughter is going to hell!!!"

"We don't know that and that's not our place to say, that's God's decision in the end, I feel God judges from a pure heart, not from the way our bodies look. You have tattoos and a lot of Christians are against that... so to some you're going to hell but in the end we won't know until it's decided... I'm not gonna stand here and have a religious debate, I'll just telling you how I feel, and we can't condemn those who are "wrong" to hell, it's not our place... Next question"

"No! I'm not finished"

"Ma'am, please, I really don't want to have to call security"

"You say all that but you hate your Mom"

"No, I love my Mom and my Dad, yeah they disowned me for doing something they didn't like and I came out as Pansexual, they didn't like that either but there's not a day that goes by, I don't want to call my Mom and tell her I need her and that I need a hug... but I don't because I know she won't pick up the phone... I still message her happy birthday and happy mother's day every year, and I get no response but I don't love her any less and I know she watches my videos and my streamer and I seen she had gotten an online ticket to watch from home... So I know my mother still loves me too.... Your son tried to explain what was going through his mind but you didn't want to listen"

"Because it's wrong! I still love her but she has to-"

"No... She doesn't have to understand that's the way your were raised! That is no excuse to disown your own child, you just didn't like that he was happy outside of what you wanted him to do so until you can accept that, butt out! Next. Question."

"I still love my child no matter what they choose but I just need time..."

"Then take that time but you need to let your son know so that he doesn't think you're ignoring him or that you hate him"

Their tones had calmed down, Cassie takes a deep breath and hops off the stage and walks up to the woman "Alex loves you more than anything, Annie... now we just want the mom we had growing up" Cassie says before hugging her tightly

"Don't push him away, it hurts him more than you know. Let him know you need time, take about a week or so, longer if you need to and then talk it out"

Once Cassie finished her panel she was starving, she wasn't really watching where she was going and bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry" She says softly and looks up at the person.

"Bryan" She smiles.

"Hey, I saw what you did back there, that was honestly brave... considering she was consistent with how she felt"

"Yeah... She cooled off though... She's actually my Aunt and her Son is my cousin we were always really close until life happened. After I was kicked out we all kinda drifted apart, Alex and Shannon have been my only friends, I also have a crazy cousin but I haven't seen her in a while, her name is Athena"

"You've got a large family"

"Yeah but there's only a select few I talk to anymore"

Bryan nods as they fall into a comfortable silence.

"Shit, I have to find a ride home" Cassie says mainly to herself

"Hey, I can give you a ride, I don't mind" Bryan smiles

"N-no I can't ask you to do that"

"You're not asking, I'm offering"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah absolutely"

Since Bryan and Cassie had nothing left to do they went a head and left, staying as low key as possible
