"Y/N!" Your mother called out to you as you were getting on your shoes ready to head out the door. "Yes mom?" You responded without looking her direction, it was not abnormal for your mother to randomly call your name throughout the day. "Did you plan on going to school dressed like that?" Your mother questioned you. It was an odd question granted you were unaware of what she was hinting at.
You looked down at your shoes after you finished tying them then looked in the mirror. You were in a casual outfit, a pair of skinny jeans, a Mt.Lady special collectors edition t-shirt and a pair of converse. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion and turned to look into your mothers eyes. "Is there a problem with my attire?" You sounded genuine as you did a twirl in the mirror checking your outfit for any stains or rips. You hadn't noticed your eldest brother walk by you before your felt your hair get ruffled and his voice ring through the room, "You have to wear a school uniform now, idiot." He laughed at your confusion while heading into the kitchen. "Tetsutetsu do not call your sister an idiot!" Your mother scolded him before turning her attention back to you.
"Y/N it is required in all high school's that you wear their school uniform to represent unity and equality within your class as well as show your school's spirit. UA sent your uniform in well over a month ago, don't tell me you lost it." Your mother sighed shaking her head. If you could groan audibly without sounding rude you would have, the uniform your mother was referring too was not your style. It was bland in color and the girls uniforms required skirts. You hated skirts they left you feel too exposed. You were born without a quirk so you tended to put yourself in a position where you would'nt be volnurable. "No, I know where it is.. are you sure I have to wear that? I thought it was suggestive." You sighed trying your best to not sound rude; again. "Y/N you are extremely lucky that with your outstanding grades you were accepted into the business course at UA, the uniform should be the least of your problems." Your mother softly scolded you, "Tetsutetsu is in the hero course class, he is right down the hall if anything were to happen, okay?" She hummed with a warm smile before pressing a kiss to your forehead. "Now go get changed, your brothers friends will be here shortly to walk with you both to school." She left the room walking into the kitchen where the rest of your family was eating breakfast.
You sighed bending down to take off your once tied sneakers and placing them to the side before walking up the stairs and down the hall to your room. Your room was rather large, you had your own walk in closet, a private in suite bathroom, a private balcony and bunch of luxury items that made up your room. It was a more than comfortable life style. Growing up you never struggled with money, whatever you wanted you got within reasoning of course. You would not consider yourself spoiled as you never threw a tantrum if your mother or father said no, you just accepted it and moved on. Your mother was a pro hero, her quirk: strengthening. Despite her size she could adapt her body to be able to physically lift cars and heavy machinery. She was always able to help locate victims of incidents due to her strength. Your father was also a pro hero, his quirk: metal. He had the ability to turn anything he touched into metal. It was an amazing quirk when fighting against villains as one touch to their leg could render them helpless. Your family did not believe in quirk marriages where the purpose was to produce children with a mix of both of the parents quirks. Your parents just fell in love naturally.
You could remember the day like it was yesterday. Your brother Tetsutetsu was only a year older than you so you often shared the same friend groups. You were sat in the court yard at lunch watching each of your friends show off their quirks. Bakugo wielded flames he could hardly control at the time, Yaoyorozu was able to create objects from thin air if she studied their structures long enough, Asui was easy to figure out as she showed all the characteristics of a frog. It wasn't long before she was able to show off how far she could stretch her tongue out. You were always in awe of Asui. Kuroiro could manifest his form into darkness, Monoma had the ability to copy quirks for short periods of time. You were in amazement as you listened to each of them speak and show off their quirks, your brother Tetsutetsu was no different than the others, he was able to turn his whole form into steel. It was when everyone was complimenting him that they started to ask you questions about your quirk.
