You were edge of your seat as you watched the hero course entrance exams take place on the screen in the front of the classroom. You were scattering notes along your notepad about each student and what their quirk was. So far your list looked like this;

Yuga Aoyama: Quirk- Navel Lazer

Mina Ashido: Quirk- Acid

Hanta Sero: Quirk- Tape

Shoto Todoroki: Quirk- Half-Cold Half-Hot

Fumikage Tokoyami: Quirk- Dark Shadow

Ochaco Uraraka: Quirk- Zero Gravity

Itsuka Kendo: Quirk- Big Fist

Reiko Yanagi: Quirk- Poltergeist

Ibara Shiozaki: Quirk- Vines

Juzo Honenuki: Quirk- Softening

Sen Kaibara: Quirk- Gyrate

You were thankful you had a good ear for listening to remember each students names who were briefly announced as they flashed across the screen. You were confident in your friends who's quirks you already knew of. They would have no problem passing the exam's even as extreme as they seemed. You questioned UA's ethics to send giant robot villains against young first year students as an entrance exam. It seemed too harsh but to those students they seemed to be passing the exam with ease. Though there was one student you were most worried about, Izuku Midoriya.

You tried for a while to convince him to drop the hero course once he told you he applied to UA. You were even more frustrated when you found out UA accepted him into the hero course knowing he had no quirk. Was he just a pawn to edge the other students to succeed? You thought to yourself but quickly dismissed it. You knew UA would not do that to their students they were such a reputable school. As the days grew closer to the first day of class for yourself and entrance exam's for Izuku you had very limited time with him. He chose not to spend those moment's with you worrying over him as he always assured you that he would be fine. You hated that he was being just as stubborn as you over such a big thing. You both were quirkless you knew just how hurt he could get and recovery girl can only heal someone so much. But he was determined no matter how hard you plead him to join the business course at UA. He said he would not be true to himself if he didn't chase his dreams. But his dreams were impossible in your eyes.

You would stop by his house each afternoon when he would be gone. His mother would always apologize that he was so busy during the day and offer you to stay. She was so loving towards you, almost like a second mother. You were grateful to have her to talk to as she knew what you and Izuku went through when you both found out you were born quirkless.

One afternoon you stopped by Izuku's house when you knew he would be gone. You gently knocked on the door and waited for his mother to answer. "Y/N?" His mother spoke with a smile and a tilt of her head as she looked at you with slight confusion. "Izuku is not here right now." She apologized softly but you shook your head, "Actually I came to talk to you Mrs.Midoriya if that is alright?" You looked uneasy as you spoke and she could sense that. "Sure, come right in." She moved to the side to allow you inside her home. You carefully took off your shoes placing them to the side as you walked into the living room taking a seat on the couch. "Is everything alright Y/N?" Izuku's mother spoke to you with a small bit of concern in her tone as she sat across from you. "I am worried about Izuku." You muttered out rather fast as you looked up to make eye contact with her. "As you know we both got accepted into UA but no matter what I do or say Izuku is enrolling into the hero course. He's quirkless with no way to defend himself both in and out of the entrance exams. Yes he has the smarts to pass the written exam but when it comes to the practical exam i'm worried. He could get seriously injured or even killed." You sighed out in frustration as you ranted to his mother. She had this seldom look on her face as she took a minute to process what you were saying.
