Y/n's POV
The sun isn't shining through the curtains and hitting me in the face when I wake up. I look at the time 4:45 am. I roll over and go back to sleep. Once again I wake up and it's dark out, I look at my phone 5:17.I wake up again, 5:55, and again, 6:34 and again. The sun finally shining through this time.
I look at my phone, 7:45, I wonder what kept me awake, I slept for little bits at a time. I get out of bed and brush my teeth and hair, then sit down at my pc and use stream labs just like Karl had showed me and make my own custom stream 'starting soon' screen.
I open YouTube and search up lots of songs and make a playlist named 'streaming songs' there are a few Wilbur Soot songs on there, I enjoy listening to them quite a bit. There are also other songs but not meany of them are not from Wilbur.
I set up a paypal and a donation sound with a display 'insert ueser here has just donated $$$' and the sound is the ROBLOX cash sound. I set up speak to text and a spot where you can Wright a message to me and it will show up on screen. And a few other things like a brb screen for is I need to use the restroom or something.
Now that my stream is set up I need to clean my desk off because where my face cam is set up you can see my messy desk. I spend most of the money I got from winning that one challenge on stuff for my stream set up. I got a swivel mic stand, a headset, a pop filter, a camera, and a new keyboard. I spend the morning getting ready for stream and I even grab my dads Guitar. I learned how to play a long time ago but don't ever really play it so I figured I would use it during streams.
I go downstairs for the first time all day to see my dad watching tv "oh hello, didn't even know you where home, how was your day with your friends?" He calls out as I walk down the stairs.
"It was good, we swam and played games all day. Oh I almost forgot to tell you that I'm going to start streaming! I'm really excited." I sit down on the couch next to him
"how exiting, hope it goes well. You better eat before you go live though, I haven't seen you eat for quite some time" he looks me in the eyes.
I stand up and go to the kitchen and make myself food. While I eat I talk to Karl about my stream, he seems really excited and is going to post about it so some of his fans come to join my stream. After about 40 minutes I finish eating and getting a drink. I head upstairs to take a shower.
After my shower I look at the time, it's 2:56, I get dressed in a black button up and a gray sweater over top with some black sweats and socks. I dry my hair and make myself presentable for my stream. I'm starting my stream in 2 hours. I go over everything one more time just to make sure everything is perfect.
Time skip
I go downstairs and get a bottle of water. "Dad I'm going live, make sure you knock before you walk in," I start walking to the stairs.
"Ok have fun," I practically run up the stairs and plop down at my desk. Karl texts me 'just tweeted, go ahead and start stream:)'
I press the start stream button and play sweater wether as a intermission song a few seconds go by and 10 people are watching the stream and putting the lyrics in chat. It makes me laugh. I open up Minecraft and get the world ready, Karl sent me the link to my last world that I made on his stream so I could play it on my stream.
After about 10 minutes of the starting soon screen being up there's 1,576 people watching. "Hello chat, thanks for joining me," I turn on my camera. "I hope everyone is having an amazing morning, day or night, I know I sure am," I move my mic around a little trying to get it in a good position. I sit and chat with people for a little. There's now 3,452 people watching and I start to get really exited.
"Alright let's play some Minecraft. If you watched Karl's stream from a while back you will probably remember this world that I made and played in, if you didn't then too bad," I switch screens so they can see Minecraft and my face cam. I look at stream and see someone followed me. "Thank you for following, welcome to the club," I get really close to the mic and say looking into my camera.
A little while passes and I get my first donation with a speak to text. "I see your Guitar in the background. Can you play us a song," oh my god I forgot about the guitar.
"Umm, I will play you all a song but not at the moment," I reach back and adjust the guitar a little. I continue to play Minecraft for a bit and my phone goes off. It's from Karl 'you should play this song' I read it and look at the song he sent me. It's Hidden in the Sand. I text him back 'I can't play that, I don't have the right Instrument silly'
'Oh, what about this one,' another song pops up, Let's Fall in Love For the Night show up. 'Sure;)' I send and close my phone. "Sorry chat I had to text someone back, it was urgent," I scoot my chair in and continue to play Minecraft. I get another donation from Karl 'play us a song,' the voice reads aloud. "Ok ok ok fine I will song you a song chill," I giggle and switch screen so it's just my face cam.
I reach back and grab the guitar and pull up the cords so I can play it. "Ok I'm going to play let's fall in love for the night because it's a really good song." I drink some water then take a deep breath. I play the first few cords "let's fall in love for the night and forget in the mornin, play me a song that you like and you bet Ill know every line," I take a breath and continue singing "I'm the boy that your boy hoped that you would avoid, don't waste your eyes on Jealous guys, fuck that noise," I switch my fingers for the next line "I know better than to call you mine,"
I take a moment to look at the cords and remember the line "chat I'm adding a plot twist to this part," I say quickly before continuing "I need a pick me up, he'll be here in 25" I swing fingers to the next cord "he likes to push his luck, takes my hand and says 'let's go for a drive'" I move my fingers again "and we're living in the future, I hope I will see him sooner" I take a breath "I always ride shotgun, and he knows he got that one right," I switch my fingers again "let's fall in love for the night and forget in the mornin, play me a song that you like you can be I'll know every line," I make my voice go higher "cuz I'm the boy that your boy hoped that you would avoid, don't waist my eyes on a jealous guy, fuck that noise,"
Chat is going insane and it makes me smile, and I know that there are people asking who the guy is because I see it In chat a few times. "I know better than to call you mine," I change my fingers again "I love it when he talks that nerdy shit, he's in his 20s talking 30s shit, he's making money but he saving it, because talk shit is cheap and we talk a lot of it," I take a breath
Karl's pov
I listen with my eyes closed as she sings, her voice like an angle. "He won't stay with me, I know, but you can have your way with me until you go," her voice gives me goosebumps all over my body. "And befor the lack of kisses turn into brushes, I'm a warning," she stops for a second to take a breath. "So let's fall in love for the night and forget in the mornin, he plays me a song that he like and you bet I know every line, cuz he's the boy that my boys hoped I wouldn't avoid, cuz I've wasted my eyes on a jealous guy, so fuck that noise," she takes another breath "cuz I know better, I know better. I know better, than to call you mine," she strums a few time before butting the guitar back agents the wall.
I open my eyes and am met with a huge smile on y/ns face, she takes a drink "there chat, I sang you a song," she giggles "now we are going to keep playing Minecraft,"
