Y'all's get ready for some real butterflies this chapter

Karl's pov
Y/n flips off Nick with a smile, "ha ha vary funny," he grabs her finger and pushes it down. We all laugh and walk around the mall for a little bit before leaving to get food. We get in the car and Nick nods at me. He told me he would give me signals when I needed to make a move. We all put on our seatbelts and I look over at y/n.
Her ring is still on her middle finger and she look exited about something. I start to drive and I make eye contact with Nick in my rear view, with his eyes he jesters for me to do something. After I get to the road I look over at y/n, I reach over and put my hand on her inner thigh, I see her smile and her face goes red. I quickly look back at the road and continue to drive
"So where are we going to eat?" I ask to brake the silence
"I don't know, to be honest I'm not hungry," y/n says in response
"of cores your not hungry, have you seen how small you are," Nick says with a laugh.
I see y/n roll her eyes "just because I'm skinny doesn't mean I only eat once a day, it's just a really bad habit. And I have a really fast metabolism so I can't help how skinny I am."
She rests her head on her window, "ok putting that aside, Nick, where do you want to eat, I don't care so whatever you want should be fine," there's a few seconds of silence before he responds.
"I don't know, I can just find something at home," he sits back in his seat.
"Ok, that's fine," I say and look at him in my rear view.
We get home and go inside, y/n goes upstairs and me and Nick chill downstairs on the couch. "You nailed that, perfect," he says with excitement. "How about you two go skateboarding, and I will stay back," he puts his hand on my knee. "Sure, thanks man," I start to get really excited, Nick stands up and walks to his room.
After a few minutes y/n comes downstairs and sits next to me on the couch. "Where'd Nick go?" She says in confusion.
"oh he's in his room, anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go skateboarding?" I respond
Her eyes light up " yes, of course I do,"
We both get ready and head outside, dropping our boards and off we go. After a while we both take a brake, like last time we stop at the side of the high school. We start talking about random stuff like we normally do, "Karl, I have something I need to tell you, and I've been wanting to tell you for a really long time," she looks up at me with a nervous face.
"You can tell me anything, you know that," I say to comfort her.
Y/n's POV
I take a deep breath. "Karl, I-I really, really like you, and if you don't," my sentence is stoped as Karl grabs my chin pulling me to him. All of the heat in my body rises to my face, my stomach fills with butterflies. His soft lips meet mine, his hands reach my hips and he pulls me to him. I reach up and put my hands on the sides of his neck.
He pulls away "I feel the same way," he smiles. There's a moment of silence before I start to close the gap between us once more
"shut up and kiss me," I say and our lips meet again. Time seems to stop, my stomach is full to the brim with butterflies as he pushes me back against the wall of the school gently.
He pulls away, "oh I have been waiting for that moment since the day we meet, that feels amazing," he looks up and giggles.
I giggle "well I've been trying to tell you for so long, but every time it has gotten ruined by something. If it wasn't for Nick this would've never happened," I look down and feel Karl's eyes on me.
"What, Nick did this," he sounds confused
"Well earlier me and Nick where talking about stuff and he just asked me if I liked you and I said I do because I do and he said he would let us do this, so I could tell you how I feel," I look back up and put my hand on his chest.
"So, Nick did this on purpose," he nods slowly before grabbing my hands
"Before we go back there's one thing I want to ask you," he says looking me in the eye, I think I already know what he's about to say
Karl's pov
"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" I ask softly, making eye contact with her. Her eyes light up and she wraps her arms around my neck, I lift her up and wrap my arms around her, she doesn't respond. "So, is that a yes?" I ask and rub her back.
"Of course, I will be your girlfriend," she says then softly kisses the side of my neck, sending another wave of butterflies through me.
We start to head back and keep looking at each other. It makes me happy to have one of my biggest secrets off my chest. We arrive at my house and go inside, Nicks sitting on the couch, he looks up from his phone "so how'd it go?" He looks at y/n.
She smiles, "id say it went pretty well," she grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers
Nick smiles, "I knew you could do it," he stands up and walk over to her. She lets go of my hand and they hug, "I'm proud of you, both of you," they let go of there hug and he looks at both of us.
"Well it's all because of you. Thank you," I pat his shoulder and hug him. We all sit down on the couch for a bit, and talk about random stuff. I have my arm around y/n the whole time, eventually we all start to get tired so we go to our rooms.
Y/n's POV
We go upstairs and Karl sits down on his bed, "go ahead and get ready for bed, I will after you," I nod and grab one of his sweatshirts and leggings, then go to the bathroom to get ready. Looking in the mirror I noticed the ring in my nose, I keep forgetting about it. I get dressed and brush my teeth.
I leave the bathroom and go to Karl's room, he's sitting on his bed texting someone, I sit down next to him and rest my chin on his shoulder. He leans his head against mine, "I'll be right back," he says then stands up to grab something to ware.
When he comes back into the room he closes the door. I look up at him as he walks over to the bed and lays down in between my legs, resting his head on my stomach. I run my fingers through his hair for a while, I rap my legs around him.
I start to get tired again. "Karl, can I lay down please," I giggle, he looks up at me and rises to his knee, leaning forward. He kisses me then flips over beside me, I slide down and rest my head on his chest, his heart is racing.
He wraps his arms around me and holds me close "I don't ever want to lose you," he says softly then plays with my hair.
I look up and kiss his neck a little "and you won't ever lose me, I promise," I look at him then lay my head back down letting myself slowly drift off to sleep.
