Y'all's this chapter might be a little shorter than normal but just bare with me

Y/n's POV
I wake up and hear the shower running. Karl must have woke up and jumped in the shower before I got up. I grab my phone and look at the time. 7:45 am. I don't normally wake up this early, I roll back over and close my eyes, slowly falling back asleep.
Karl's POV
I finish my shower, get dressed, brush my teeth and other things I normally do, then go back into my room. Y/n is still sleeping, she looks so comfy. I sit down on my bed and try to wake up y/n but she doesn't wake up. I lay down next to her and scroll through my phone for a little bit.
After about 20 minutes y/n rolls over, still asleep, she smiles a little, She's so cute. I roll over onto my side, faceing away from y/n, I hear her shuffle around then I feel her body meet mine and her arm goes around me, it makes my heart melt.
She takes a deep breath "morning," she mumbles, her voice is lower than normal and a little raspy.
"Morning," I respond
She squeezes me a little and scoots up so her head is above mine. "What time is it?" She asks
"oh it's 8:34," I look at the time displayed at the top of my phone. She runs her fingers through my hair, her soft finger tips rub my scalp, I close my eyes and relax completely.
She giggles and sits up against the wall, "so what time do we have to leave to go to your friends house?" Her voice calls out.
I look at the texts I had with him last night "well we have to be there by 12 so probably around 11:30 or so,"
"That means you need to drive me home at, 10:20 so I have time to get ready," she looks down at me, our eyes meet and with ever bone in my body I resist my urge to sit up an kiss her. For the longest time I have struggled with finding the right moment for everything, I guess I never really think about it but this is something really important to find the 'right moment' for.
Time flys as we sit and talk and 10:15 rolls around . Y/n stands up and goes into the bathroom and I relax on my bed. After 3 minutes she walks back into the room and Is wearing the pants she was yesterday and the hoodie I gave her last night. "You ready to go?" She walks over to me and says, grabbing her phone off my nightstand.
Ya," I stand up off my bed and walk out the door to get my shoes.
We sit on the couch and put on our shoes. Y/n sits up quickly and looks at her right hand. "You alright," I reach over and out my hand on her shoulder.
"Ya, I just rubbed it the wrong way and it felt weird," she giggles a little and finishes putting on her shoes.
We get in the car and drive to y/n's house, the drive is comfortably quiet. We arrive and she gets out of the car, waves, and goes inside.
Y/n's POV
I go inside and I hear my dad from the living room "oh, you home. Where where you?"
I slip off my shoes and walk over to the living room. "Well, it's kinda a long story, and I don't really have the time right now to tell it," I start to walk up the stairs
"why, you haven't been home like, all week."
I close my eyes. "I'm going to a friend house and we are going to hang out. I'm sorry ok, I have a life now, I'm not 6 anymore dad. And even tho I still need you for things doesn't mean I'm completely blocking you out of my life," I walk up the stairs and go into my room.
Not thinking I grab my bathing suit and go into the bathroom to get ready. After about 5 minutes later im basically ready to go, I put on my bathing suit (a/n im not explaining what it looks like yet) and put on shorts and a tee shirt over top of it, brush my teeth, put my hair up and finally Karl texts me that it's time to leave. I grab the small bag I have packed and go down the stairs.
"I'll talk to you later, love you dad," I say putting on my shoes not even knowing he's still there
"Alright, have fun, love you too sweetheart." I walk out the door and Karl waves at me, I wave back. The sun pounds on my face as I walk to the car.
"So, let's go," I say exited and put on my seat belt he hands me the aux cord, "so you really do like my music," I smile and plug it into my phone. The first song that comes up is Sunkissed, I lip sing the lyrics and scroll through Pinterest on my phone while he drives.
