Karl's POV
We walk out of my house to go skating, I set an alarm for 11 to start heading back to my house otherwise we will be out till 4 am again. "Let's go," she grabs my arm and starts pulling me down the driveway.
"ok ok I'm coming," I smile and drop my board. We start skating down the road.
"Watch this," she looks at me then drops to a crouch position on her board, and it's moving!
"Be careful," I say as she stands back up.
"Man I haven't done that in a long time," she kicks off and speeds up ahead of me her hair flowing in the wind, swerving in front of me a few times, it freaks me out a little.
"Chill, your gonna make me run into you," I say and slow down a little
"no I'm not, I'm being careful," she does a half circle around me and we line up and look at each other for a few seconds.
Time skip
After a while we take a brake and go down to the side of the high school. "So glad I'm out of school, I almost failed last year," she stops and picks up her board.
"Me and you both, but I went to college," I giggle
"oh shut it," she shoves me a little.
My phone rings, it's Sapnap. " one sec," I say and answer his call
"hey whatcha doin man?" I hear him call through the phone
"just chilling with y/n," I say nervously
"oh really," he says with an enthusiastic voice
"ya, what did you call for?" I say confused.
" I was just wondering if you wanted to do a meet up again, I haven't seen you in so long," I think for a moment
"ya sure, when you planning to come?"
"oh I was thinking about starting driving tonight at like midnight and I will be there in about 2 days," he says quickly.
"Sap, you understand that your going to be extremely tired by the time you get here, right," I ask him.
"ya I know, but still, I miss you man," he sounds sad when he says it
"alright al see you then I guess. Bye sap, I gotta go," I say in response to him
"Bye Karl, I will keep you posted," he says then hangs up.
"What was that all about?" Y/n asks me after I put my phone away
"Oh, Sapnap is going to drive here to see me, we do it every once and a while," I shrug and she nods
"ok, sounds fun," after a while the alarm to head back goes off so we start heading back to my house.
When we get back y/n seems a little Paranoid. "Hey you ok, you seem upset about something," I rub her back as she responds
"ya, I'm just a little upset about how when Sapnap is here I'm probably not going to see you as much as I do, because you won't really be at work, and I don't have a car so I can't drive here, I'm just going to miss hanging out with you," she looks up at me and I can see the sadness in her eyes before she reaches up and wraps her arms around my neck and hugs me.
"hey, just because Sapnap will be here doesn't mean I'm not going to hang out with you, you can hang out with us it you want," I wrap my arms around her.
Soon after we go to bed, after she falls asleep I get up and go downstairs and call her dad. "Hello?" He calls through the phone and I get nervous
"umm, I-I was wondering if y/n could stay at my house for a while, it's fine if she can't but I was-" I get cut off
"of course she can, I will pack her a bag in the morning," his words shock me
"Thank you, you don't know how much this means to her, have a good night," I smile and get exited
" no problem Karl," he says and ends the call
I go back upstairs and open my door quietly, and turn the handle before I close it so it doesn't make a sound. I get back into bed and only have a few seconds to get comfy before y/n cuddles up against me, it makes my heart melt that even when she's asleep she wastes no time to cuddle up against me. Finally I feel myself drift off to sleep
The next morning
Karl's pov
I wake up and y/n is facing away from me laying on my hand, I scoot closer and put my arm over her. "Good morning handsome," she says with a giggle as she puts her hand over mind.
"Morning cutie," I smile as I say it, she leans back against me and frees my hand.
I grab my phone and see a few texts from sap. I unlock my phone and open his contact. 'Just finished packing, getting on the road soon' then 'I'm on the road!' And sent 20 minutes ago is 'just stoped for a nap, ill let you know when I'm back on the road:)' his little smile at the end makes me smile. I text him back with one hand 'when you texted I was asleep but I'm awake now, good luck on your drive:)' I send it and put my phone down.
Me and y/n cuddle for a little while longer and then I remember that I had called her dad last night. "Let's go for a drive," I suggest, "but then we will have to get up and I'm to comfy," I giggle and stand up off the bed, pulling y/n with me. "Hey, I was comfy you little rat," she says as I pick her up off my bed.
We get ready and get something to eat before we start going for a drive. "Where are we going in the first place?" She asks as I pull out of the driveway
"you will see, just wait ok," I look at her then back at the road and see her smiling at me
"Ok," she says acting like she upset, then giggles.
"Isn't this the way to my house? What's going on I'm confused," she looks at me with a glare
"You will see," I hold my hand out to see if she will hold it, sure enough she reaches her hand up and interlocks our fingers.
We get closer and closer to her street and she keeps asking questions. "Ok, I'm going to tell you now so please don't scream. I called your dad, and he gave you permission to stay at my place for a few weeks, and Jimmy is ok with you taking time off work to hang out with me and sap. So your dad packed you bags and we are going to pick it up right now."
She squeezes my hand, "really?" She says with Excitement in her voice
"yes," I look over at her and back to the road to turn down her street. She gets really excited and let's go of my hand, and claps her hands together a bunch to show how excited she is.
I smile and Mr. y/l/n as we pull into her driveway. Y/n jumps out of the car and hugs her dad, "did you get my h-" he cuts her off "your hat, and your blanket, and your favorite outfit, yes I did," he smiles and hugs her. I turn off my car, get out and walk over to y/n to put her bags in my car, I put it in the back and close the door and am met with a hug from y/n.
"Thank you Karl," she looks up at me and smiles
I wrap my arms around her "I told you, I will do anything to make you happy," I hear her dad giggle at the words I say
"You two have fun, but not to much fun," he jokes, I feel my face go hot.
