It was still June 24th. After Lauryce left the beach house, she would make her way over to see Savannah. Savannah was watching her favorite court shows on the television in the living room when the doorbell would ring. She got up to go to the door to look through the peephole. Savannah saw that it was Lauryce. She opened the door. "Lauryce, what are you doing here!? You know my birthday is not till tomorrow." "Savannah, we need to talk." Savannah would let Lauryce in the house. "Okay...."

Savannah and Lauryce would go sit down in the living room. Savannah would turn the television off. "So what is it that you want to talk about?" Lauryce took a deep breath. "Savannah, I'm pregnant." Savannah looked at Lauryce with wide eyes. "You cheated on Chafonda!? I knew you guys were having problems, but damn! Did you tell Chafonda?" Lauryce nodded. "I already told her." "How did she take the news?" "Chafonda is pretty pissed." "Well I would be too. So does the father know about this?" Lauryce put her head down. "That's what I need to talk to you about." Savannah had a look of confusion. Lauryce looked up at Savannah. "The father already knows." Lauryce took a pause. "Savannah, Chuck is the father." Savannah's eyes got wide. "What!?" "Chuck is the father of my child."

Savannah felt like someone had kicked her in the stomach. She started to breathe heavily. "No! This isn't true. You're lying!" Lauryce's eyes started to water and her voice started to crack. "Savannah, it's true! I'm so sorry." Savannah started to shake her head. "How could you do this to me!? Why?" Lauryce stood up and walked over to where Savannah was standing. She would try and grab Savannah's hand. But Savannah would snatch it away. "Savannah, please just listen to me. I didn't plan on this happening."

Savannah looked Lauryce in the eye. "We will never be best friends ever again. You are dead to me." Lauryce shook her head and was sobbing at this point. In a calming manner, Savannah asked Lauryce to leave. "Please just go!" Lauryce shook her head once more. "Savannah, I'm so sorry." Savannah's voice would get loud with her demand. "Get out! Leave now!" Lauryce grabbed her things and quickly walked to the door. Before she walked out the house, Savannah's mother would come through the door.  Lauryce was still in tears when she looked at Azucena. "I'm sorry Mrs. George. I'm so sorry." Azucena was confused by the encounter. When she came into the house, she saw Savannah sobbing. "Savannah, Is everything okay?" Savannah just shook her head. Azucena walked over to Savannah and held her in her arms. Savannah would bury her face in her mother's chest. Savannah would eventually calm down and tell her mother everything that had happened.

Meanwhile Chafonda was dealing with her pain the best way she knew how, through drinking and smoking. She would also take a walk along the beach. Chafonda would make her way back to the beach house from her walk. As soon as she walked in the door, she spotted Charles. Chafonda started to slowly clap her hands. "Congratulations Chuck! You lost Savannah forever. Isn't that what you wanted?" Charles just shook his head. "Have you been drinking?" "Hell yes! Is that a problem?" Charles would shake his head again. At that point, Lauryce had come out of the downstairs bathroom. "What the hell are you doing here!? I thought I told you to get the fuck up out my face!" Charles would put his hand up. "Hey Cousin, chill! She here cause I told her she could stay for a few days. Her parents need some time to process the news of her pregnancy. Ryce is carrying my baby. I want her to not be so stressed out."

Chafonda was fuming mad at this point. "You know what? Fuck you and your baby mama! Y'all can have each other!" Chafonda would go to her room and start packing some clothes and other essentials in a overnight bag. Charles would follow her to her room. "Fondy, where ya goin?" "I don't know. But I ain't stayin' here. Move!" Chafonda made her way past Charles and walked to the front door. She would call a cab to come pick her up. Charles kept calling Chafonda's name and begging her to stay. But Chafonda would ignore him. She would go out the door and get in the cab.
