Chafonda had cooled off after she took a long walk around the area. She came back to the apartment late in the evening. Chafonda had come to the realization that she needed to have a conversation with Dadrian. She also didn't have anywhere else that she could go to.

Chafonda would unlock the door and walk on in. Dadrian was sitting at his computer. He stopped what he was doing and looked at Chafonda. "Hi!" "Hey!" Dadrian stood up from his computer desk and walked over to where Chafonda was standing. "About earlier, I'm so sorry." Chafonda raised one hand. "Dadrian, please!" Dadrian nodded. They both decided to go sit on the couch. Chafonda would take a sigh. She looked straight at Dadrian.

"Dadrian, I like women, chicks, females, whatever you want to call it. Kissing me will not change who I am and how I feel about things." Dadrian sighed and nodded. "It's just that the first time I saw you come through that sliding door at Savannah's house, It was like I heard angels singing. You looked like a model." Chafonda chuckled. "A model? That's a bit much." Dadrian shook his head. "A beauty like no other."

Chafonda shifted her eyes to the ground. "It took me a long time to accept who I was. I would date nothing but guys. But I wasn't attracted to them. There was nothing there. I would be attracted to the girls at my high school. But I had to hide it." Dadrian nodded. Chafonda looked Dadrian in the eye. "Dadrian, there is something that you could probably do for me." Dadrian looked at Chafonda with frowned brows. "What?" "Someday, I want to be a mother. And I'm gonna need something from you. And you know what that is." Dadrian's eyes widened as he stood up from the couch. "Oh damn! Uh...." Chafonda smirked. "It's okay if you don't want to." Dadrian shook his head out of confusion. "Nah, I just gotta think about that." "Well, don't worry! It's not anytime soon." Dadrian nodded.

A few minutes later, Brad would come walking through the door

A few minutes later, Brad would come walking through the door. Chafonda looked at him. "Brad!" Brad stopped in his tracks before he got to his room. "What!?" Chafonda stood up and walked towards him. Brad had his guard up thinking he had to fight Chafonda. "Don't worry, I ain't gonna hit chu. I just want to apologize about earlier. I shouldn't have came at chu like that. It's just that I look at Savannah like a little sister. I'm very protective of her. At times too protective." Brad nodded understandably. "I get it. I like Savannah. She real cool." Chafonda nodded. "I could tell just by how y'all was at the club last night."

Out of nowhere, Chafonda gave Brad a hug. It took a minute for Brad to hug Chafonda back. "Um....okay." After Chafonda was done hugging Brad, she looked at him with a smile on her face. Both of her hands were on each of Brad's shoulders. "What was that hug for?" "You know Brad, you alright." Brad looked at Chafonda with raised brows. "Who are you? And what have you done with the woman who gives me attitude any chance she gets?" Chafonda smirked. "I really do need to check myself. So let's start over and let bygones be bygones." Chafonda extended her hand. Brad nodded. "Aight!" Brad shook hands with Chafonda.

Dadrian saw everything that had happened. He smiled and walked up to Brad and Chafonda. "I'm glad that you two are finally seeing eye to eye." Chafonda and Brad nodded at the same time. Brad would look at his watch. "Back to work! See y'all in the mornin'!" Dadrian and Chafonda nodded. "Okay!" Brad went to his room.

Chafonda walked to the kitchen to get a cup of water. Dadrian started to yawn and stretch. "I agree with Brad. I need to start heading to bed myself. It will be a really busy day tomorrow." Chafonda nodded and grinned. "Work for me too. After I get off tomorrow, I'm going by Savannah's. I owe her an apology as well." Dadrian nodded in agreement. "That'll be the right thing to do. Goodnight Chafonda!" Dadrian went to bed. Chafonda would fall asleep asleep as well.

The next day, as promised, Chafonda made her way over to Savannah's house as soon as she got off of work

The next day, as promised, Chafonda made her way over to Savannah's house as soon as she got off of work. Savannah was reading a book in her bedroom when the doorbell would ring. She went to answer it. She would look through the peephole and see Chafonda standing there. Savannah opened the door. "Chafonda!" "Savannah, can we talk please!?" Savannah nodded. "Yeah sure. Come in."

Chafonda walked in the house. Both women went to the living room and sat down on the couch. "Savannah, I'm sorry. I know that I've been trippin' lately. I called myself lookin' out for you." Savannah nodded. "I know. And I appreciate that. But let me learn from my own mistakes." Chafonda nodded. "You right!" Savannah looked at Chafonda with open arms. "We still girls!?" Chafonda smiled. "Always." Savannah and Chafonda hugged.

When the hugging was done, Savannah and Chafonda got up from the couch and walked to the kitchen. "Chafonda, you want anything?" "Just some water." "Okay." Savannah opened up the fridge and got a bottle of water out. She handed it to Chafonda. "Thanks." Chafonda opened up her bottle of water and took a sip. Savannah leaned over the island counter. "I talked to Brad." Chafonda nodded. "Oh yeah?" "Yeah. He asked me out. We're doing dinner and a movie." "That's good." Savannah grinned. "I like Brad. He's so easy to talk to." Chafonda nodded. "All that matters is that you're happy."

Savannah and Chafonda would hug once more. Chafonda started to walk towards the door. "Well I need to start heading out if I'm gonna catch that bus." Savannah would suck her teeth and wave her hand. "Girl, don't worry 'bout it. I'll give you a ride." "Thanks girl." Savannah would take Chafonda home.
