fter Swift was paid from the boggled sheriff, he went to buy some food from a salesman and headed out of the town, which was named Seamliten to Nimu (the Lake Spirit). But Swift & Calasear took a small detour to a hidden village without knowing it. Funnily enough Swift wasn't running, just walking through a forest.
Calasear asks "Why aren't you running? We'll get spotted by a monster, or worse."
"What's worse than Queen Lee-ana's dumb monsters...? Oh, never mind, I just realized it now."
"Yes, the Knights of Order – the mightiest of all. The monsters are nothing compared to the Knights of Order, their skills with a blade and being armed with 5 sacred blades makes them impossible to beat." Explained Calasear so thoroughly.
Swift wondered in his thoughts. "The Knights of Order huh, are they really that strong? Maybe that's why Calasear wants us to get to Nimu as fast as possible. Because he wants to prepare me when I face them and the Queen."
Our hero and the mouthy sword have come across a very unusual form of rocks. It seems to be going around something and the 'wall' looks like it's not made of bricks but more like the very ground was moving.
"Hmmm, I don't recognize this strangely made wall from when King Leo was still alive."
Swift said with his hand touching the rocky wall, "I think we should see what's behind here."
Calasear replied eyes shut "No we must get to Nimu as quick as you- ...you just jumped over the wall didn't you?"
"I did it when you said 'no'," replied Swift with a Chuckle.
Calasear looked around & said. "Wait I remember these oval shaped rock houses. This is the Village of Alchemists, or better known as the Alchemy Village."
"Oh yeah, Grandpa told me about alchemists, but aren't wizards and alchemists the same?"
"No fare from it; alchemy is the art of reshaping anything into something else. Magic on the other edge (seeing Calasear doesn't have hands) is the mystical art of using the energy of light & dark. Also you need sacred words called spells to use magic. Where as Alchemy is limited but quicker to use without spells, they just put their hands together on a tree, stone, or water to transform it to something more useful, do you now understand?"
Swift while looking around added, "I got it, and where should we go first?"
Someone was tugging at Swift's bag and when he swiftly turned around in a battle stance with Calasear in his right hand, the M.A. Sonic came face to face with a sparrow girl, who appeared to be somewhere between 5 to 9 years old.
"Oh, sorry I didn't mean to point my sword at..."
The sparrow cut Swift off "Is that a sacred blade? Are you a knight sir?" fearful the girl asked.
Swift said "Ummm... sort of, why do you want to know. Wait a minute, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Swift the Hedgehog. And your name is...?" now that Swift got a better point of view to inspect the sparrow, her feathers were brown, eye color was orange. She was wearing a light green cloak that reached her knees, long sleeves, with a darker orange hem on the cloak. The beak was yellow with a black tip.
"My name is Amanda Spytion, Alchemist in training." the sparrow now known as Amanda replied with a curtsey, adding a question back to Swift. "But why are you called Swift, if I may ask?"
Not seeing the problem with telling his story, Swift complies "Well you see..."
When Swift tried to go further with his story, three spikes made of rock came shooting past his head. Good thing Calasear warned Swift of the attack. He then took Amanda under his left arm and ran on the barrage of spikes that followed the previous. Swift kicked the hooded figure that attacked him across two houses. Swift towered over him, "Alright, give me one good reason why I should not kick you again, for not only attacking me but this little girl too?" Swift's brow dropped, showing how furious he felt.
