There was nothing but silence in the area of snow. Nobody uttered a word. The only thing anyone could hear if they concentrated and were close enough to another person, was their breathing.
Wnorash wanted to run from the sight of the black Hedgehog, he really wanted to but he couldn't move, flashes of what happened to the forge coming back to him, paralyzing the Boar in terror. However, the same could not be said for a certain-duo that opposed Lee-ana's rule.
"You sound like you were waiting for a challenge." Swift spoke the first words in the silence-filled atmosphere.
All the Boars turned their gazes to the blue outsider who called out the black Hedgehog who was responsible for attacking their home. Swift showed no intimidation or sign of backing down, if the way he talked was any indication.
Wnorash whipped his entire head now to the bearer of Calasear, dumbfounded to the point that he couldn't get a word out of his own mouth, while also having an inner conflict of changing his opinion of Swift.
Calasear thought was not silenced as easily as the rest, calmly asking, "Wnorash, get your people into the forge. There must be something that will ensure their safety while we keep the knight distracted."
The six-foot-tall Boar did indeed know of a way to get the other Boars to safety. A complex system of tunnels that would get anybody lost for years... Luckily Boars like Wnorash knew which ways to take. He turned towards his people, hesitant at first but quickly worked up the nerve to instruct them on what to do.
"Everyone, get into the forge right now while Swift keeps Lee-ana's Knight at bay!!"
Miraculously, none of the Boars argued with Wnorash on the subject of who's in charge. So all of them high-tailed out of the coming storm that was about to be unleashed. Although they would only get half way to the gate until a flash of red and thunder hit the snow above the gate, blockading the way into the Boars very home. They all turned their collected attention from the gates to Swift who, regrettably, was their last defence against the black Hedgehog with an equally black blade pointing at the place he struck with his lightning.
"Nobody is leaving!" Sir Blackess ordered the Boars in a demanding voice that left no room for argument from anybody. All was silent again, which is when the same voice broke it yet again.
"But if you leave it's all alright, so can you please go somewhere else." Swift jokingly smirked.
When those words left the M.A.-Sonic's mouth, it flabbergasted the terrorized Boars he was protecting from the M.A.-Shadow.
"Were you some jester before taking up the sword? How undignified and strange can one be?" The black Hedgehog mused embarrassingly out loud, scratching the top of his helmet as if having small headache.
"Hey, do I look like a jester to you?" Said the frowning blue squire.
"I would say partly, but that's not important right now." offered Calasear, "I will try to reason with him to leave peacefully."
Swift first gave his mentor an annoyed look then fully turned to the red-striped Hedgehog, so Calasear could converse face to face with the source of all the Boars' terror.
"I am Calasear. May I have your name, wielder of Aroonight?" The living sword courtly asked the Barer of Aroonight.
It was a good thing for Swift that his mouthy blade had who-knows how many years of experience with diplomacy. But what he really wanted to know was why, now of all times, was he playing the diplomat with their adversary?
"So the living Sacred Blade is real. Yes, I'm well aware of who you are, wise steel. My name is Sir Blackess." the now named Knight responded.
"Then you must be well aware that only those most truthful can wield me. And any word that comes from my apprentice's mouth is nothing but the truth. Thus, our reasons for overthrowing Lee-ana is to help Galo-"
