Chapter 20- Forming Unified

Nimu's Home

"Mmm, I think I can lift the spell." Said the lake spirit to Galotum's most-wanted.

Swift and Thomas smiled joyously at Nimu's answer. Calasear, on the other hand, expected this. When it came to the mystical arts, no one stacked up to Lee-ana but Nimu. Now all they had to do was wait for her to lift Lee-ana's spell.

After Swift's clash with Blackess, he freed all the prisoners at the secret forge before turning it into a literal ruin with Aroonight. If travelers were to pass by, the first thought would be that it looked like it had been abandoned for over a thousand years. Then the duo safely took the Prowles to a friendlier home, the Boars' forge.

Wnorash's family welcomed the Foxes into their home. It greatly helped that the two had a connection to blacksmithing. Although, Swift shed crocodile tears of sympathy for the Prowles, as he really disliked those mushrooms they would be subjected to.

Next, Swift and Calasear decided to take a trip to Nimu so she could lift Thomas from his curse. They had to blindfold the young snow-leopard of course, which he didn't mind.

"Alright, Thomas, please remove your blindfold," the lake spirit instructed. He did just that, though at a slow pace.

"I promise you won't feel any pain while going through the ritual." Nimu reassured Thomas with a kind smile. She then clapped her gloved hands together as five blue circles appeared under their feet. With lines that slithered to the first four, creating a larger one where Nimu and the young leopard were in the center.

"Let's keep quiet so Nimu can work in peace." Calasear whispered to the newest and truest. Swift responded with a nod and took a few steps back.

"G'ruumen, G'ruumen, G'ruumen. Valless nolis." While the river spirit was chanting, Thomas' left eye started to glow brighter and brighter.

Soon, a familiar black smoke came out of the young snow leopard's eye. However, it didn't put him in the same aching state as last time. Slowly, the black smoke flowed into Nimu's opened right palm while she continued her chanting.

"It's working! Man, am I glad we came. And even better still is that Lee-ana hasn't shown her foggy face yet." thought Swift in relief for Thomas. But then another thought came to the Hedgehog's mind about the Royal Witch. "Actually, now that I think about it... what does she do in her castle?"

That was indeed a good question; Lee-ana wasn't seen much by the public. She mostly kept to herself in the castle, and the only people who saw her personally were the Knights of Order and the servants. Just what was Lee-ana doing?

The M.A.-Sonic pulled himself out of his daydreams as he shifted his gaze back to the ritual. Within Nimu's palm, a ball made of black smoke started to form. It was as small as an ant, but then it grew to the size of an apple.

"Phew!" Nimu exhaled as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. And the circle disappeared. "All done; Lee-ana won't be bothering you anymore."

"Wait, so I'm.... free?" The young snow leopard asked for clarification that he understood correctly.

The female Spirit only gave a kind smile to Thomas and created a mirror in her free hand. The mirror showed the boy's reflection with both his eyes as a sparkling blue now. Seeing this, tears started to escape from Thomas' eyes. After so long, he was finally free from Lee-ana's clutches and the pain that came with it. Thomas was so overwhelmed with joy he hugged the pink Hedgehog, as hiccups were heard from the boy somewhere inside the deep bear hug.
