Chapter Thirty One - The Crushing Of UA

As the Provisional License Exams began, the tradition known as the Crushing Of UA was made known. Soon enough, all the other classes began to gang up on UA. Morbius used his Vampire Quirk to avoid the attacks. He then realizes what was going on.

Morbius: I understand now! They're targeting us because they know our Quirks from the Sports Festival!

Midoriya: Everyone, don't get too separated! Let's move as a group!

However, Midoriya's plan to keep everyone together quickly fell apart as the chaos breaks apart Class 1-A. As the other students attacked Morbius, he uses his speed to eliminate a few students.  During the chaos, Morbius managed to join up with Yaoyorozu who had Jiro, Tsuyu and Shoji who were getting ready to go inside a building. 

Morbius: Are you all right, Momo?

Yaoyorozu: I'll be all right, Michael. 

Shoji: The number who've passed is already past the halfway mark.

Tsuyu: We should probably give up on finding everyone else and start fighting ourselves, don't you think?

Morbius: Considering our present circumstances, it is our best option. We'll have to make due with what he have and have faith in our fellow classmates. 

Yaoyorozu: I agree.

As they entered the building, Jiro plugs her Earphone Jacks onto the ground

Jiro: Shh! I hear footsteps from four people on the stairs, about ten floors below. They're coming up!

Shoji: Are they after us?

Yaoyorozu: It bothers me that there are only four coming. All the schools should be moving in bigger teams than that.

Tsuyu: Maybe their companions were defeated, and they're running away to hide here.

Morbius began to sniff out more hostiles in the building. Suddenly, loud music began playing. Jiro and Morbius were overcome by the loud music due to their enhanced hearing. 

Yaoyorozu: Michael! Jiro!

Morbius fought through the pain as he slowly dropped to his knees. Before any of them could react, Morbius and the rest of the group were ambushed by students from Seiai Academy. Though the UA students avoided being eliminated, they were pushed inside a room. The doors were welded shut as the air vents start pouring in cold air. As the room gets colder, Tsuyu passes out in a hibernation like stake. Shoji bundles her up to keep her warm.

Morbius: They've shut us in. We're trapped. This is what they wanted. 

Yaoyorozu: They were able to predict our actions so accurately after only seeing that one attack. And this careful plan means that there must be someone extremely intelligent among our opponents.

Morbius: They know about our Quirks. They're using the cold to hinder Tsuyu and using the sound to hinder Jiro and myself. 

Yaoyorozu: The door over there's the only one left.

Shoji: Should we force our way through?

Yaoyorozu: Our opponents are definitely waiting for us there. It's dangerous. 

Shoji: They keep being one step ahead of us.

Jiro: What should we do? 

Morbius looked around the room for something that can be used to escape. He knew that whoever was coordinating the attacks knew about their Quirks. 

Morbius: I'll leave through the vents and provide a distraction. 

Yaoyorozu: It's too dangerous, Michael. 

Morbius: It may be our only option. Whoever's coordinating this doesn't know about my new abilities. I can use that to our advantage. I'll buy you enough time to think of a plan. 

Yaoyorozu was hesitant about this. She was still unsure of her own abilities. Morbius grabbed her hand and offered her a smile. 

Morbius: I believe in you, Momo. 

Yaoyorozu smiled as she took a deep breath. She then nods to Morbius. Morbius then rips out the ventilation cover and transforms himself into a swarm of bats. Meanwhile, Saiko Intelli waited patiently in another room. Inside the room were her fellow Seiai students. She drank tea while looking at a chessboard. She watches Morbius putting his plan into action via the security footage. 

Saiko: It appears one of the UA students is a clever one. Sweep the nearby areas, he couldn't have gotten far.

As a group of Seiai students fanned out to search for Morbius, Morbius stalked them from the shadows. He lunged at one of the students and snatched her away without making a sound. He covered her mouth and began to mesmerize her. 

Morbius: You are now under my control. Obey my commands. 

Seiai Student: I....will obey you....

As the Seiai student was placed under Morbius's influence, he lets her go as she walks over to the other students. Without hesitation, she attacks them. In the chaos, Morbius makes his way to where Saiko and the remaining students were in. This chaos allows Yaoyorozu to put her own plan into action as she helped the others escape the room. Meanwhile, Morbius enters where Saiko was and destroys the lights, covering them in darkness. While the rest of the Seiai students were frightened, Saiko kept her composure. 

Siko: Remember the plan. He relies on fear and theatrics.

Morbius: Gaze your fill. Morbius the living vampire will be the last sight your miserable eyes behold!

Those words struck terror as he lets out an inhuman screech. A strobe light was thrown in the room. Morbius then grabs Saiko and gazes into her eyes. 

Morbius: You have lost. 

In Saiko's eyes, it seems that she was looking at a monster. All she could do in that moment was scream as Morbius eliminated her. It didn't take long for Yaoyorozu and the others to take care of the other Seiai students. With that, Morbius and the other UA students were able to get the points they needed to advance to the next round. They then made their way back to the starting area to wait for the remaining spots to be filled.
