After Gigantomachia breaks free, the Villain makes a run for the city. During this, Majestic uses his Quirk to to help the students get to safety. But before they were whisked away, Majestic speaks to the students.
Majestic: Your decisions and actions were correct. You kids played this right! Whatever happens now, don't ever doubt that!
With that, Morbius and the rest of the Backup Team were whisked away to safety away from the rampaging Gigantomachia. After that, they saw the destruction left behind by Gigantomachia's rampage. Everyone was stunned by the level of destruction that they were seeing.
Sero: Shoji....are the Heroes....you know....
Shoji: It's too far. I can't confirm either way.
Yaoyorozu: This is...this is insane. The only reason we're alive....is because.....they didn't see us as worthy enemies.
Morbius: That....that will be their mistake.
Yaoyorozu: And Majestic....he....he....
Morbius could see that this was taking it's toll on Yaoyorozu. Without hesitation, Morbius hugged her.
Komori: S...shouldn't the sedative have kicked in by now?!
Mineta: Our decisions....our actions.....did we really do the right thing? And the Pros too....did they make the right call? Seriously! This nightmare.....did we....did we just make it worse?!
At this point, Morbius stepped forward.
Morbius: Remember what Majestic said to us. We cannot doubt ourselves. Right now, the people in the city need us. We may have failed to stop Gigantomachia, but we can still save as much people as we can. We are still Heroes. People need Heroes now more than ever.
Yaoyorozu: Michael is right. We can't afford to sit back and beat ourselves up about what happened. We still have a job to do.
With that, Morbius and the other began making their way to the city. Once they're in the city, Yaoyorozu coordinates her team to rescue, aid, and assist the wounded Heroes and civilians. The Heroes in training quickly saw the chaos and destruction left behind by Gigantomachia's rampage. At the same time, Nomu were seen attacking throughout the city. When a group of Nomu were seen getting too close, Morbius turned to Yaoyorozu.
Morbius: I'll lead the Nomu away. You and the others keep helping anyone you find.
Yaoyorozu: I don't like leaving you by yourself, Michael.
Morbius: It'll be okay. I promise.
As Morbius reassured Yaoyorozu, the two shared a kiss before Morbius transforms into a swarm of bats and flies to where the Nomu were. Morbius then reforms into his regular form and calls out the Nomu.
Morbius: VILLAINS! THIS CITY WILL NOT FALL TO THE LIKES OF YOU! SO SAYS MORBIUS THE LIVING VAMPIRE!
Morbius charges in and attacks a Nomu. Using him Vampiric strength, Morbius lands a punch with enough force to blast a Nomu back against a wall. He then lunges at another Nomu and bites down on the Nomu's neck, sucking it's blood. The blood was revolting to Morbius and he spits it out. This allowed another Nomu to pounce on Morbius and throw him against a wall. Morbius quickly recovers and finds himself surrounded by Nomu. Undeterred, Morbius snarls at the Nomu.
Morbius: You will not stop me!
Morbius then unleashes the full power of his Vampire Quirk upon the Nomu. As he begins taking down the Nomu one by one, he could feel his bloodlust creeping in. Despite this, Morbius fought through his bloodlust. Eventually after a tense battle, Morbius was able to take down the Nomu. But as he was about to regroup with Yaoyorozu and the others, he began to pick up a scent. Without hesitation, Morbius follows the scent. The scent leads him to a building on the verge of collapsing. He soon finds Bubble Girl attempting to help the Pro Hero Centipeder who was trapped underneath some rubble.
Centipeder: Go, Bubble Girl! Save yourself!
Bubble Girl: Not a chance! I'm not leaving you here!
Morbius: You won't have to!
Morbius then rushes in and uses his Vampiric strength to help Bubble Girl lift the rubble and free Centipeder.
Morbius: Are there any other people in here?
Centipeder: We were helping Power Loader evacuate the people here.
Bubble Girl: We....we got separated when those creatures attacked! Then this giant Villain came in and just started wrecking the city! We got separated! He's still here on the top floor!
Morbius: You two get yourselves to safety! I'll find Power Loader!
With that, Bubble Girl carries the wounded Centipeder to safety while Morbius searches for Power Loader. Eventually, he finds Power Loader in the midst of helping a couple and their child get to safety.
Morbius: Are you okay?!
Power Loader: A little banged up, but I'm fine!
Morbius: We have to leave now! This place is going to collapse!
Power Loader: You heard the man! Let's get out of here!
With that, Morbius and Power Loader lead the family out of the building. The building quickly collapses.
Morbius: If you follow me, I can lead you to safety.
With that, Morbius leads the Heroes and civilians to where Yaoyorozu and the others quickly were. Despite the chaotic nature of the situation, they continued doing everything in their power to help anyone they could. As this happened, a fierce battle broke out all across the city. Though the Heroes would eventually fight back the Villains, it would send shockwaves that would change the landscape of the entire conflict. As the battle died down, Morbius and Yaoyorozu along with the others rushed back to the forest to help Midnight and any other Pro Hero still at the forest. What they didn't know was that they would only find tragedy in the aftermath of this hellish battle.
