Love is not just lust
Like a rose with admirers,
It's the face through the glass windows
And opening your door to strangersIt's the hand you want to hold
And the lips you want to seal
The one the sun kisses,
A perpetual ordealBut what would I know of love?
Never sealed any lips
Or been sunkissed,
All I've taken are sipsStill I know I may have
The ability to deny,
The hollow of my heart
Which it has been from the start.
