The rest of the day went fast, I had to finish a few thing for Ms. Goodwin and then head to the ED to find a few things for some patients. The day was finally over and I was so ready to head home.

I grabbed my things and started to walk out of my office. As I was trying a lock my door I felt someone grab my waist. I turn around quickly with my fist up. "Hey, Hey." It's me." Connor was standing in front of me with his hand holding my fist so I wouldn't hit him. "Oh no, Connor I'm so, so sorry." I  was shocked with my reaction. "It's ok, Lily. Are you ok?" He had a worried look on his face. And I felt guilty for almost hitting him. "Sorry. I thought." I stopped myself before continuing and started to walk away. I couldn't tell him about Ray. I needed to get him and the thought of him out of my life.

"Hey Lily. Let's go get some drinks it was a long day and I know I sure can use one"Connor said stopping me from walking. "Connor look it's." Connor cut me off and said "we are going." I smiled and finally agreed.

We walked into the bar and a few people from the hospital was there and some of the fire department. We walked over to the bar and took a seat. "Whiskey neat. And." Connor looked at me. "Dirty Martini please" the bar tender started making our drinks and then came back and set the glasses in front of us. " Will told me that you were supposed to be at the school this morning." I took a sip of my drink thinking that if I remembered I had class I wouldn't know what would have happened. "Hey, I can't of all days." Connor placed his hand on mine. "I'm just glad that you are safe." I smiled at Connor and kissed his cheek. "Me too."

We talked for another two hours and had a few more drinks. We decided to sit with some of the others that worked at the hospital. We talked for a few more hours and then finally we all decided to head home. Connor took me to my car. "It was good hangout tonight." He smiled and blushed a little. "I-it was nice hangout with you to." I kinda slur. I turn around and almost fell but Connor caught me. "You ok?" He grabs my keys and opens the door. "I'll drive you home." He leads me to his car and get in, with his help. "Watch your feet." He says closing the door. We get to my house and Connor helps me out of the house. "Hold on, I'm going to be sick." I said stumbling. Connor takes my keys and unlock the door. "Come on." He said picking me up. "You don't." I started but then end up passing out in his arms.

I woke up with the bright light hitting my face. I rolled over and saw some medicine and glass of water on the night stand. I took the medicine and slowly got out of bed. "Shit my head." I held my head as I was walking out of the room. I herd the tv on and smelt food. "Well you finally getting up." I see Connor in the kitchen making food. "Connor, what are you doing here?" I asked shocked that he was here. "I made breakfast." I looked at the clock and it was almost 11.

"I'm not really hungry Connor." I felt bad since he had made the food. "I thought so thats why I made you a smoothie and I made eggs for me." He smiled and placed a small cup i front of me. I took a sip and was shocked how good it was. "You have work?" I asked as we were eating and drinking. "No I have the day off. You have to go in to work Or school?" I looked down remembering what happened with the school and that I could have died and that some of my classmates had died. "Lily?" Connor got me out of my head. He placed his hand under my chin and bright my head up. "Your ok. I know your thinking about your classmates." I looked at him and agreed with. "I don't have to go in and. Goodwin told me I could have the day off and the school is closed classes will start back up in a few weeks."

Connor finished his food and came over and grabbed my glass. "Come on let go out today." My head was starting to ease and I really did want to go somewhere and not stay home. "Ok." I got up and went to my room and grabbed some clothes and changed. I walked out and seen Connor on the phone. "Sorry Lily I got a call I have to go in." He walked over and kissed my forehead. "See  you later."
