Chapter 34

Three months had past and Everything was going back to normal. A few things had changed I went to work in the ED instead of surgical, Connor has another surgeon working with him and Sarah had left. I was seeing Dr. Charles again still having sleepless night but thought was normal. I still can see Ray's face when I close my eye. "Lily, ready to go?" I closed my journal and looked up at Connor. My brother was finally marrying Natalie and I was going to be late. I walked out with Connor and he was all dressed up in black. Will had asked him to be one of his grooms men. "Well hello handsome." I said with a huge grin. "You like?" He asked with a smile. I smiled back and whisper "Love" We get to the car and head to the church.

After thirty minutes of the drive we pull into the church and we both get out. I head to Natalie room and Connor went to Will's We kissed one another before splitting. I walk to the room and go in. Natalie was in her dress and she was beautiful. "Wow Natalie." Maggie was getting a few more things and then finally the time was here. I walked out and took a seat a few more people showed up and finally it was time. I watched was Will went to the front and then Jay and finally Connor. My heart skipped a beat as he was walking down and I began having butterflies. All three of them stood up front and then Maggie walked down and then April, finally Natalie.

Natalie and Will were now married and we were all eating, drinking and dancing. Connor grabbed me to go dance. I was finally at peace and very much in love with him. We dance one more song and then we went home. We walked into our place and we went to the couch. Connor wrapped his arm around me and we watched some movies. "You looked good in a suite" I said out of the blue but had been thinking of it all night. He smiled and kissed me. He laid me down on my back and he climbed on top of me. He took off his shirt and then took mine off then kissed me. He ran his figures through my hair and down my shoulders then to my waist. We started kissing more and  I took my hands down his back then kissed him back. Connor picked me up and carried me to our room and placed me on our bed. Connor removed his pants and then removed mine. "I love you" I said as he got on top of me and smiled. "I know...I love you too."

We were laying in bed and Connor turn over looking at me. "You know your so beautiful." I blushed looking at him and turn my face away. "Don't do that. I love it when you blush its cute." I smiled and kissed him on his cheek. I rolled over and fell asleep.

The next day came and it was time for work. I climbed out of bed and went to get dressed. I walked out of the room not seeing Connor. I looked at my phone and seen he had messaged me. "Gone into work. Had a 911." I grabbed my things and headed to the hospital. I parked in my normal spot and went in. I walked to the nurses station and seen Maggie and Dr.Choi talking. We ended up getting a new nurse named Monique. Doris was giving her a hard time. "Morning." I placed my things down and got started on my day.

"Dr.Manning tests are back." I said handing her the tests. She looked over everything. It was weird thinking she was now my sister-in-law.  "Hey." I jumped a little when Connor placed his arms around my waist. "You ok?" He asked concern. "Sorry I'm still a little jumpy." Connor nod his head. "Dr. Charles said you could still have these moments. Maybe you should go talk to him." I kissed him on the cheek and smiled. "There just moments love. They come, they go."

After our shift we decided to go to the bar with some of the others. Maggie and Natalie were talking and laughing and Will and Ethan were doing the same. Connor had gone to the bar and gotten us all drinks. This was definitely the way to end the night.
