Chapter 31

I walked into the hospital and went to get ready to work in the ED. There was a hug crash and all hands on deck. "Hey April." I said placing my bag down "ambulances 5 minutes." Maggie said. I grabbed my things and we all got ready. "There here." Dr.Choi, April. Room 2, another one comes behind them. Dr. Manning Lily." I grabbed my things and went with Natalie "room1." Maggie stated. "Fifteen years old      BP 89/60. Lost a lot of blood. "On my count" Natalie said. We transferred the girl to the bed and started working on her. I place the IV and then started her medication. Natalie was going over the head injuries. "X-rays ready step back." Natalie looked at the X-rays and started to call a few things out. Connor walks in and placed some gloves on. "Need help?" He asked. "Yeah," he came in and looked over the X-rays and then the girl. "She needs surgery." They rolled her out and Connor went to another room.

After two hours the rush of patients finally calmed down. I walked over to the station and started to put in the last of tests. "Where is she!" I herd a familiar voice yelling. I turn around and seen Ray storming in. "Lily!" I looked at Maggie and tried to look for Connor. "Sir, you can't come in here until." He pushes Maggie out of his way and comes into the ED. I rushed to the doctors lounge and stayed away from the window. I pulled my phone out and called Adam and texted Jay. "Hello, Adam Ray is here at the hospital. Looking for me and he isn't happy. What happened?"  I felt myself start freaking out. "He found out he was wanted in the attack." I looked back up and see the security try to make him leave. "We need you all down here he is here."

"Lily! I know you are here come out!" I knew he would hurt someone if I didn't come out. I slowly made my way out and I see him with the gun. "I'm right here Ray. Put the gun away." He points the gun at me and yells "don't tell me what to do!" I raised my hand up and step back. "Lily?" I looked back and see Ms. Goodwin and Dr. Charles. "Ray, what do you want?" He steps forward and looked around. "Ray please what is it that you want?" but then It clicked he wanted me. he wanted to take me. "Ray, please don't do anything you might regret." I turn around and then I felt a arm come around my neck. I see Maggie and Aril jump and then the security walk forward. "don't move." I said hoping Ray wouldn't shot. Connor comes around the corner with Dr. Latham. Then Will comes out of one of the room. "Got do it Will." I said knowing my brother to well. Ray pulls me back and we start walking to the entrance. "Come on Ray you don't want to do this. There has to be another way." Dr. Charles said. I knew that if I leave with Ray I wont make it so there was only one thing to do. Fight.

Dr. Latham was keeping Connor back and Natalie was trying to keep Will back. I decided it was time for all of nothing. I looked at Maggie and then to April then finally to Dr. Charles and Ms. Goodwin. I saw Sarah come in the building and then Ray quickly turn around pointing the gun at her. "No, no Ray. "Dr. Charles yelled for her to stop. I took this moment to fight. I stumped on Ray foot and try to get free. I pulled the gun down forcing his arm down. But he nocks me down forcing me on the floor with the gun on my forehead. "Lily don't" Connor yells. "If you try that again you will be sorry." Ray picks me up and drag me out of the building. I start kicking and screaming begging him to let me go. Kicking and screaming I was officially scared for my life.
