Chapter 9

A few weeks had passed and school started back up and I was just about finished and ready to start working. Ms. Goodwin already gave me to all clear to work at the hospital and I was going to be on the surgery floor. Connor was excited since I could do surgery with him. Will wasn't to thrilled I choose the surgery floor and not the ED. But I do have a month before I'm ready to start.

"Come on dad." I walked up to my dad's door and hear Jay yelling at dad. " I'm not moving from my house. You have no right to force me out!" Dad was yelling and Jay was packing his things. "Dad it for your own good." Jay grabbed the last of the bags. "What's going on?" Jay passed me and rolled is eyes. "We decided to move dad somewhere that is closer and can help him if he needs it." I walked in and the place was almost cleaned out. "Why didn't you guys tell me?" I was upset since my brothers didn't fill me in. "Dad didn't want you to know." I looked at dad hurt. I was his daughter and the only one at that.

They walked out and it was just Jay and I. "Listen he still needs more time. He will get there." I wanted to cry but I didn't. "Yeah, just hope he does before he dies." Jay placed his hand on my shoulder and kissed my forehead. "He will sis." They left and it was just me left at the house. I hated this. I hated that I couldn't tell them the reason i came back. But I was to embarrassed and I didn't want the I told you so. I decided to leave and get some food.

I grabbed some pizza to go and then went to the park. It was cooler today but that just meant not a lot of people would be there. I found a bench and took a seat. I pulled out my phone and seen a few messages. I felt someone walk up and sit beside me. I looked over and my heart dropped.

"How you been Lily?" I felt sick as I was face to face with Ray. He placed his hand on my face and then cupped my cheek. "I sure have missed you." I felt my body shake and I wanted to bolt but I knew he would stop me. "Why.." I couldn't finished my sentences he forced me to stop talking. I looked around hoping to see someone Around but no one.

"I missed you sweetie." I could feel the chills in my body when he said that. I looked at him and he placed a hand on my face. I pulled my head away from him. "Lily, I messed up. Please give me another chance." I still loved him. I wish he could change but I have been down this road once before and went back to him. But I didn't go back home. "Ray." He stopped me from talking and kissed me. I wanted to pull away but I knew he would hurt me.

I herd someone walk by and seen a man and woman walking their dog. "Jason. Molly!" I yelled I yelled out the two first names that came to mind. "Oh it so nice to see you two." I said half smiling. I looked at Ray and back to them. The lady understood what was happening. And she gave me a hug. "It's so nice seeing you." She said letting me go. Ray got mad and stormed off. "Are you ok?" The lady asked. "I'm so sorry, I just needed to get away from him." They both understood and asked if I needed to call anyone. I politely said no and we went out separate ways.
