Perspective of: Daya
We had just left the restaurant after finishing a delicious chocolate sponge cake. The restaurant was definitely a 10/10. Everything about the place was amazing, everything except the price that is.
At the end of dinner when the huge bill came in, everyone dreadfully pulled out their wallets, just about to split the bill. But to our surprise, Kaidan completely paid for the whole thing, saying he had some "spare change". Which I'm super grateful for because truth is, I'm broke as fuck.
Between trying to pay off my tuition and saving up money for an apartment when I graduate, money was tight. It was fun to get out the house and actually enjoy myself.
"See you guys tomorrow!" Julian and May waved goodbye as they drove their car away.
"They are so cute together." I expressed toward Kaidan.
"And we're not?" He asked sarcastically.
"No. We're more black and white." I shrugged.
"What does that even mean?" His smile lit up the night.
"We argue about literally everything. Just yesterday we argued over ice cream."
"Because mint chocolate is good!" He laughed it off.
"You disgust me." I sneered my nose at him.
"Do I?" His head tilted to the side as he leaned in closer.
"Yes. Now where is the car?" My hand blocked him from getting any closer.
"I'll go get it." He backs away then removes his suit jacket.
"Wait here." He smiles as he wraps the jacket around my shoulder then placed a small kiss on my cheek then walked away.
"AHHHHHHHH." I screamed internally. My heart is about to explode. How did I get so lucky?
Looking at Kaidan walk away, I look around and notice a group of girls giggling as they made googly eyes at him. Not thinking much of it, I pull out my phone as I continue to wait for Kaidan.
Soon enough, Kaidan pulled his car up to curb, getting out the car, then jogged over to me. I look behind Kaidan to see one the the girls in the group walking up to us.
"What is it?" Kaidan asked as he followed my eyes, looking behind himself.
"Nothing. Take your jacket." I smiled removing his jacket from my shoulders.
"No, just wear it for now." He stops my hand from giving it to him.
What is wrong with this man? Can he not tell how everyone is drooling over him?!
"Excuse me?" A voice called out tapping Kaidan's shoulder.
As soon as he turned around I peeked my head over his broad body, looking at the woman. Her flushed cheeks grew bright red as she looked up at Kaidan.
"Hi. I just thought you were really cute. Can I get your number by any chance?" She tucked her long brown hair behind her ear.
"I have a girlfriend." Kaidan replied bluntly, no emotion in his voice.
The woman looked at me up and down, giving me the dirtiest look I've ever received before. "Well we could just be friends."
Is this bitch fucking stupid? At this point I move from behind Kaidan, standing right next to him, making sure she saw me.
"No." Kaidan's voice still emotionless.
"Come in! I'm sure your girlfriend wouldn't mind!" The woman smiled eyeing me down ever so slightly.
Before I could say anything, Kaidan's arms swoop into my waist, his lips crash onto mine. I opened one eye to see the woman's reaction.
Her mouth shot open causing me to smile a bit. Her cheeks grew red in embarrassment almost making me to laugh. Kaidan then released his lips from mine looking back at the woman.
"Like I said, I have a girlfriend." His hand stood at my waist.
"Oh I didn't know you guys were dating. I thought you were just friends." She tried to play it off.
Without saying anything else, he opened the car door for me, allowing me to get in. He then enter red the drivers seat and drove away, leaving the girl at the curb.
