Perspective of: Daya"He did what?" May slowly turned to me, her eyes glowing red.
"He practically told me to fuck off." I shrugged opening up the freezer and getting a popsicle.
"Y'know, I never liked his ass anyways. And not to mention he treats you like shit."
"No, he doesn't. He just has his moments." I laughed, trying to lighten the mood.
"I'm serious Day. In college I thought he was the whole package deal just because he was hot. And I never do this but, I have to admit I was wrong. He ain't shit." She then turned back around, finishing up the dishes.
"You just hate him 'cause he's my boyfriend. You've hated all my boyfriends." I began to eat my popsicle.
"False. I liked Kaidan. You guys were perfect!" She squealed like a child.
"Until y'all mysteriously broke up and he vanished off to Japan without you even saying goodbye.""May." I let her know she's going too far.
"Sorry. But it's true." Her energy tamed a bit.
I never told anyone why me and Kaidan broke up. Not to shield myself from embarrassment, not to protect him, nothing like that. I just.. couldn't do it. So I just told everyone we broke up. Except for Kaidan's mom and my mom, of course.
When Kaidan went to Japan everyone was there to see him off. Even I was there... technically. I wanted to separate myself from him, I really did. But I couldn't so, I watched from a distance. Like some psychotic stalker.
I watched him hug everyone goodbye. I watched tears being wiped away. I watched everyone leave after their goodbyes but for some reason, Kaidan stood there.
He just stood there looking around, waiting for something, someone maybe. Maybe me? Doubt it. He stood there until he couldn't anymore, then left.
"Speaking of Kaidan, he was at the event yesterday." I sat down on a stool in the kitchen island.
May's mouth dropped, "WHAT?!?!"
"Yeah. I guess he's back." I shrugged.
"Oh, I knew he was back. I just didn't think he would be at the event." May then took a seat next to me.
"Wait, you knew he was coming back to America? And you didn't tell me?" My head bucked back in offense.
"I mean, I didn't think you wanted to know. You and him didn't exactly end on good terms."
"Bae, guess who I bumped into at the store!" Julian yelled, the front door closing behind him.
"Who?" May responded sarcastically rolling her eyes.
"No one other than Kaid- OH- Daya you're here too." He walked into the kitchen, the sound of another footstep following him.
And once again, there he was. The guy I just can't seem to avoid. Holding Kalani in one hand and two grocery bags in the other. Wearing black cargo pants and a beige crewneck.

Romance"You're so pretty, you know that?" He whispers to me as he looked at my face and planted a small kiss on my lips. "Bend over for me baby." I obey what he says and stands up, legs still weak, and bend over with my legs spread apart. I feel his lips...
