Perspective of: Daya
About five minutes of constant nagging and urging, I finally told May everything that happened, first filling her in on how I knew Mr. Blackwell. Then, told her all about his confession, to the fight, and finally told her about my encounter with Aikaterine.
After crying all my tears out, I accept the fact that me and Kaidan we're basically friends with benefits. Minus the friend part? I don't even know anymore.
"Get up." She grabbed my arm, trying to pull me out of bed.
"Wait why?" I pulled my arm away from hers.
"To go confront him."
"I already did." I shrugged acting like I didn't care.
"But he needs to say it out his own mouth. If he wants to slut around then the least he can do is own up to it." She demanded, her eyes filled with rage.
"May. I'm fine. I don't need for him to say anything to me." I reassured her, sitting her next to me in the bed.
"Are you sure? 'Cause I'm willing to go to jail if I need to." She mumbled over pulling me into a tight hug.
"I'm sure." I returned the hug.
"Now back to you. Who's the lucky guy you went on a date with."
"I'm not sure if this is the right time to tell you.." Her voice grew timid.
"Tell meeee!" I began to shake her as if she were a piggy bank full of pennies.
"It's Julian!" She blurted out closing her eyes.
"We're been dating for about a month now."
I didn't move a muscle. I couldn't move a muscle.
"We didn't want to tell you guys because of all the tension between you and Kaidan. We just thought it would be kinda weird. I didn't mean to not tell you about it I was just trying to find the right time. Yeah." She babbled on, a reoccurring habit she does when nervous.
I quickly grabbed a pillow from behind me and began hitting her with it,
"How could you not tell me! You kept me in the dark for a whole month!"
"I'm sorry!" She laughed out.
"Wait, why did you play Seven Minutes in Heaven at that party then?" I abruptly stopped.
"I was insanely drunk! I'm just happy you pulled me out of there when you did." She released a short laugh.
"Okay, I won't say anything BUT you have to tell me about him. Does he treat you right?" I threw the pillow back behind me.
"Yes. He's the best I promise. He's funny, caring, thoughtful, always makes time for me, good in bed, like extremely good, his di-"
"That's enough!" I stopped her before she got too carried away.
"I'm so happy for you! If you're happy, I'm happy." I pulled her into another tight hug, her doing the same.

Two weeks. Two whole weeks have passed of me not even acknowledging Kaidan. Him not even acknowledging me. Only a month and a half until we graduate and no words were being exchanged. Whether it be seeing each other in class or bumping into each other around campus, no one said a word, not even a single facial expression.
