At 1:40AM, Nick woke up due to a sleeping condition that he had, which prevented him from sleeping the whole night through. Frustrated at this and knowing that it would be almost impossible for him to fall back asleep now, Nick quickly gave up on trying to sleep again. Instead, to pass the time until morning, Nick decided that he wanted to check out that strange machine called, 'Project Portal' that he and the others had stolen from that Anonymous Society hideout earlier.
He carefully pulled it out of the special case that it was in so as not to accidentally break it or wake up any of the others that were sleeping. Even though he had already seen it before, just looking at it again, made Nick very curious about the strange device. He wondered what it was for, how it worked and what was The Anonymous Society planning on doing with it?
After awhile of looking it over and finding no buttons, controls or anything, Nick gave up on trying to figure it out. Before he was about to put it back in the case, Nick began to imagine creating his own original cartoon character.

He thought of its appearance, personality, abilities and everything that there was to creating a fictional character. He began to laugh inside himself just thinking about the character that he had just come up with in his head.
