Nick and the others were now in Rovveiana Falls, Russia, where The Anonymous's Society's secret base (according to what Pennywise had told them) was supposed to be located at. They had received a ride over to Russia in the same jet that they had been in when they had first met Mr. Black and learned about the True Justice Organization's existance.
But the first thing Mr. Black and everyone else noticed about the town was that it seemed to be abandoned. However, Mr. Black knew why this was.

He explained to the others about his past and his old life living in this town all those years ago. He told them that after the incidents with his father and mother being killed, The Societ Union at the time, didn't want to risk the public finding out the truth about his parents and The Soviet Union's true intentions, so the Soviet Union government ordered that his former childhood town be abandoned in an attempt to keep that truth from getting out.
Speaking of Mr. Black, Mr. Black himself had decided to accompany them on their new mission to sneak into The Anonymous Society's hidden base. Knowing how dangerous Mr. Black and The Anonymous Society is, Mr. Black had also brought along 4 dozen of his best men who just like Mr. Black, Nick, David, Charleton and Robert were all well-trained and armed to the teeth!
Mr. Black had even given everyone his explicit permission to kill anyone or anything that attacked them if they were given no other choice, but at the same time he had ordered them to make sure that when they found Mr. Anonymous himself, that he wanted him to be captured alive if possible. Even though, Mr. Anonymous was a huge global threat and many had suffered because of him and his selfish and cruel desires, Mr. Black knew that they needed him alive if they were ever going to figure out who he really was, where he was from and why he wants to rule the world in the first place!
