CHAPTER 39 THE UNMASKING

Mr. Anonymous was about to pull the trigger and end Mr. Black's life when he suddenly noticed Hap and how he was easily tossing around all the fictional villians that he had ordered to attack Nick and the others like ragdolls! Mr. Anonymous couldn't believe that some silly, purple, fox-like creature was able to not only defeat all his cartoon, live-action and video game underlings with ease, but also manipulate himself and everything around him with little to no effort!

 What also bothered Mr. Anonymous was the fact that he didn't recognize Hap at all and he knew all about all the fictional characters that he and his organization had brought into the real world! And Mr. Anonymous and The Anonymous Society had been keeping track of all the fictional characters that came to The Real World and made sure they knew everything that there was to know about each and every one of them! But here was Hap, a being that surely wasn't from The Real World and was clearly another fictional character, and yet, Mr. Anonymous was completely puzzled by the strange fox-like creature!

'Hmm. That guy may be a problem! Someone as powerful as him could be a huge threat to me and my plans! And even worse, he is a complete enigma to me! I know nothing about him or any possible weaknessesthat he may have, either! Damn it! He must be an original character! Whatever the the case may be with him, I'll have to do something about him before he becomes a possible threat to me and my ambitions! And no one's gonna deny me of my dreams and birthright to be the ruler of this world! NO ONE!' Mr. Anonymous thought angrily to himself.

 While Mr. Anonymous was distracted, Mr. Black took advantage of this and quickly fired another shot in his direction! Mr. Anonymous noticed this just in time to dodge the bullet, but what shocked him and Mr. Black was when the bullet from the gun suddenly ricocheted off the surface of a metal wall and hit Mr. Anonymous's mask in the process!

Mr. Anonymous fell to the ground as the mask he was wearing began to crack apart as a result of this and the impact from the bullet before the mask shattered to pieces and fell to the floor! "Arrgh! You'll pay for that!" Mr. Anonymous yelled in rage as he slowly began to get back up.

Mr. Black was ready to continue his fight with Mr. Anonymous and was just about to shoot him again before Mr. Anonymous got back up on his feet and Mr. Black could finally see his true face! However, when Mr. Black saw his true face, his jaw dropped as he suddenly froze in place in disbelief!

Standing before Mr. Black was a man with white skin and brown hair with a hint of gray in it and who looked a lot like him, too! The now-unmasked Mr. Anonymous also looked to be around the same age as Mr. Black as well!

As for why Mr. Black was so shocked upon seeing this man's true face, it was because Mr. Black was now staring at someone he thought he never see again, much less alive ever again! It was none other than his brother who for all these years he had thought was dead, too! "Mac!? Is that you!?" Mr. Black asked, shocked by this new and sudden, unexpected twist!

I know what you're thinking. It's time for Hap to appear and break the 4th wall again. Well, not this time! Instead, Hap just left a note because he is currently too busy playing with all the fictional villains to break the 4th wall right now. The note says, 'Sorry! I can't talk right now! Playing around and eating cookies is a fulltime job! Tune into the next chapter of TOONEY and have a great day! Bye!' Signed Hap.

And then there was another note that Hap left behind. It looked like this.

And at the end the very end of this chapter, Hap left a third and final message. 'Can I have some more cookies now, please?'
