The DX

Pretty soon Elsa and Soda are going to the DX to help out. "I hope I do fine with helping Soda" Elsa thought. "I have never done that kind of work before" Elsa thought. "Hey Elsa,you ready to go?" Soda asked. "Ya,am ready" said Elsa. "Ok,let's get going" said Soda. "Okay" said Elsa. They then get to the DX about 5 minutes later. "Ok,how about you work the cash register" said Soda. "I don't know how to work it" Elsa said. "It's ok,I will teach you" said Soda. "Ok,cool" Elsa said. "Ok so,to open the cash register to press the button that says open. After the customer gives you the item they want to buy,you look how much it costs,tell them how much,and after they give it to you,you press the button and put the cash in there. If they end up giving you more than how much the own you,give them some change back unless they don't want it" said Soda. And one more thing,if people say there is something wrong with there car,send them back here" said Soda. "Ok,thanks" said Elsa. Soda then goes back. It's silent for awhile. Not a lot of people are coming in. I mean she just got there so there might be more coming in later. About an hour later,some people come though the door. Of course the first people who come in had to be Socs. There was two boys and two girls. The girls come to the counter. "Hey,so something is wrong with my car" one of them said. "Ok,just head back there" said Elsa. Then the girls leave. Then one of  boys come to the counter. "Hi,I just need gas" he said. "Ok" said Elsa. "He hands her the money. The other person wants to buy something. He buys to cokes. "Ok,that will be $10" said Elsa. He gives her $15. She gives him his $5 back. "Hey,I have never seen you here before" he said. "I am just helping out" said Elsa. "Oh ok" he said. "So,how often are you going to be here?" He asked. "I don't know" said Elsa. "Well,I hope you are going to be here a lot" he said. "I have school" said Elsa. "After school then. I also go to school" he said. "Oh really,what school?" Elsa asked. "I go to Rogers High" he said. "Oh really,me too" said Elsa. "Oh cool" he said. "My name is Jay Brown" he said. "Elsa Curtis" said Elsa. "Nice to meet you" said Jay. "Nice to meet you to" said Elsa. "Hey,how about we go to the drive-in Monday,8:00" he said. "Is he asking me on a date?" Elsa thought. "I don't think so" said Elsa. "I don't want to go with a Soc" Elsa thought. "Whatever,I will see you later" said Jay. About a minute after he left,some greasers came in. You noticed Mason is here. Mason comes to the counter. "Hi Elsa" said Mason. "Oh,hi Mason" said Elsa. "So,how have you been?" Mason asked. "I have been good" said Elsa. "Well,that's good" said Mason. "Hey so I was wondering if you want to maybe go for a walk or something later" said Mason. "Again with this" Elsa thought. "Am sorry but not tonight" said Elsa. "Ok will,how about some other day?' Mason asked. "I think I would rather be friends" said Elsa. "Oh come on,it would be fun" said Mason. "Don't you take no for an answer?" Elsa asked. "Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. So this is how your going to act" said Mason. "Oh no" Elsa thought. "Ok,leave me alone before I call the cops" said Elsa. "Am not scared of the cops Elsa" said Mason. "Hey Elsa,so how has everything been going?" Soda asked. "Good so far" said Elsa. Soda looks over at Mason. Mason gives Elsa a look then leaves. "Was that Mason Jerry?" Soda asked. "Yeah,it sure was" said Elsa. "You sure everything is fine?" Soda asked. "Yeah,am sure" said Elsa. "Ok,I think we should start heading back" said Soda. "Fine by me" said Elsa. When they get back,Elsa goes to her room. "So glad I was able to work at the DX today" Elsa thought. "I wonder what is wrong with Mason" Elsa thought.
