We were on our way back home, cheering Mia up.

Her results had come back negative on all counts so it was pretty relieving for me.

"Here we are." Jasper said quietly as he opened my door for me and did the same for Mia.

"Is Dad A around yet?"

"Go on and check." he said and moved to the side a little bit for her to run into the house.

Jasper and I walked into the house silently and with a smile I said, "thanks."

"We've got to do it again sometime. Without Mia or any tag along."

"Yes we do." I said and with another smile, I walked away.

"Alex!" I called out, only to be told everyone was in the dining room.

I took my seat and Andrew gave me a small smile.

"Everybody had fun today?" he asked and a chorus of yes went round. "Good. Now before we go into movie night, I want you all to ask any questions about this family. Any."

Everyone started muttering and then Chase asked, "who's your favourite?"

"I won't say I don't have favourites but I can't exactly say cos I can tolerate some of you more than the others at different times."

"Are there any other secrets we should know about?" April asked also.

"No. We do have to talk about your introduction to every Elyrian but that's up to you guys."

"Is Mum pregnant with a guy or girl?" Callie asked, hope crystal clear in her eyes.

"We want it to remain unknown till that day."

"When's the next family night out?" Derek asked.

"As soon as possible, I promise."

There were no more questions and he cleared his throat, "now I know Michelle and I have had our fair share of misunderstandings but that's all they are. Misunderstandings.

I don't plan on divorcing my other half or cheating on her and I need you all to understand that. It took me way too much to get this woman here and I'm not letting her go."

*FLASHBACK IN ANDREW's P.O.V ABOUT 27 YEARS AGO*

"Mum?" I called out as I stepped into her and my Dad's room done in shades of pink and red.

"Andrew honey! What have you been up to now?" she asked with a semi scolding but amused voice as she patted on her bed for me to sit on.

"Well Charlie roped me into giving the new maid a welcome by exchanging her underwear for men's underwear. It's all him." I said with the most charming smile I could muster.

"ANDREW WINSTON CHRISTAMOS! How dare you?"

"Did you miss the Charlie roped me in part?"

"Shut up when I'm talking you fool! I am the Queen of Elyria after all."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at that one.

"Sure mum. Embrace your royalty now after getting everyone to call you Red and while wearing skinny jeans."

"Are you talking to me?" she asked and followed closely by her question was a jab at a pressure point of mine.

Damn her martial arts training.

"Now get your ass outta here and go and apologise to that lady."

"Why can't-"

"I'm gonna close my eyes and if I open them to find you here I assure you, you'll wish you were still in diapers."
