~25~ Don't Push Me

"Dad said your car needs to go for servicing so I'm to drop you guys off and I have a test in the next twenty minutes so can you hurry up!" Jasper yelled.

"Jeez. I'm ready." I muttered as I slung my bag around my neck and walked downstairs.

"Have you eaten?" Alexa asked.

"Nope."

"Here." she said and handed me two wrapped sandwiches before moving off.

I grinned before unwrapping it and digging in.

"Get into the bloody car already." I heard Jasper mutter as Callie grinned at me from the backseat.

Five awkward minutes later, he came to a halt and everyone unbuckled their seatbelts before hurriedly jumping out and waving to him.

"Thanks for the ride." I called before walking off also.

Once Jeremy had left also, I smiled at Jasper, "you're ok?"

"Yep. Have fun today."

"Good luck on your test too."

"It isn't much of a test, I just didn't want to have to wait."

"Still..."

"Thanks."

"Mhmm."

We were silent when I realised I was the one holding him back so I hurriedly alighted, bending my head to hide my pink stained cheeks.

As I was about to shut the door, he stopped me, "hey I'll pick you up later today? So we can go out."

"Oh. So what of Jeremy and co?" as I asked, his eyes darkened a little but his smile remained.

"Mum'll get his car dropped off."

"That's fine then."

"Yup."

"So bye."

He just grinned at me and I could see he was seconds away from laughing his ass off so I slammed his door shut and gave him a dirty look.

To complete it, I stormed off but just like EVERY-TIME i storm off, it was short lived as I ran into a skateboard and fell back flat.

"This is becoming a routine." Jasper said peering down at me looking concerned as he stretched his hand out to me.

I took it and staring him directly in the eye, I said, "it's not funny."

"Jasper! It's been so long boo!" Chloe's irritating voice rang out.

I heard him mutter a soft uh-oh and that made me giggle.

"How are you Chloe?"

"Good good! What's she doing here?"

"She's got a name and she's leaving. Bye J." I said and made to leave when Jasper caught my arm and once more I giggled at the pleading look in his eye.

"Stay and I'll pay for the dessert too." he muttered urgently.

"Detention boo." I said teasingly.

"I'll get you out of it."

I grinned and planted myself near them both.

"So I'll maybe see you around Chloe."

"Oh you will brother in law."

At this, I just couldn't contain my laughter anymore and I could see Jasper was already laughing softly.

"Brother in law? Your ass got dumped last time I checked."
