*Alexa*

"GO AWAY!" I said on hearing the knock on my door.

"Let me in Alexa."

"It's never by force."

"I just wanna sit with you."

"No."

"Fine." and there was silence.

I sighed and unconsciously touched my hands to my lips.

"He didn't hurt you, right?"

"I thought you left Alex."

"This is me sitting with my twin. Sue me."

"He didn't."

I stood up at that point and slid down my door to sit on the floor.

"You ever wonder if this is all a dream?" he asked.

"Every time."

"It's ok to miss them though. And it's ok to move on and not feel like you're betraying them every time you laugh."

"I know."

We were silent at that but I was satisfied just hearing him tap a little on the floor.

"It's been a while since we really did anything together though. I miss us."

"Me too. I miss us too."

"What do you say the two of us hang out after school tomorrow?"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

"That'd be great."

I heard him whispering something so I spoke up, "who're you talking to? I can't hear you."

After a few seconds, he responded, "sorry. They were making sure you were ok. So we're on tomorrow?"

They.

Right.

"We are."

"Good."

"Won't you go to bed Alex? There's school tomorrow."

He paused, "I want to be near you. I need it."

I closed my eyes and replayed his words.

"I love you baby." even though technically, Alex was older with a few minutes, he was a baby to me.

"I love you too twinnie."

I stood up at that to get a pillow and blanket and laid it on the floor, right in front of my door.

"Hey Alex?"

"Yeah?"

"Go get your pillow if you're staying there."

"Yes ma'am. I'll be right back."

I swear I heard him leave but barely seconds after, there was a knock at the door and in surprise, I pulled it open.

Only to find a plate of sandwiches and a coke at my door with no human.

I bent to see a note right on top and picked it to see my name on it.

Wanting to avoid any encounter with anybody just yet, I picked the items up and shut my door once more.

As I resumed my position on the ground, I opened up the note and read the steady handwriting,

"I'M SORRY ABOUT EARLIER."

I shut my eyes and couldn't help but think about the kiss once more.
