My mom made me sit across from her at the table.

She still blinks too fast even when she eats. It annoyed me.

"Stop it!" I exclaim.

She was caught off-guard, her gaze turning to me. Our parents turned to us, too, confused.

"What is it, Nayeon?" Mom asks. She was looking back and forth towards me and my neighbor.

"She bothers me!" I said.

My neighbor's eyes widened. "I do not!" She defends.

"Yes, you do!" I counter, leaning closer towards the table so she'd feel intimidated. "You're doing it on purpose!"

She looked more confused now. "Doing what?"

"You blink too fast!"

I thought her rapid blinking was the reason why there were tingles in my stomach. That's why I got more angry.

It's like she was trying to gain control over my body.

I also thought my parents were gonna scold me for being rude, but they only laughed.

"Nayeon, hon, I don't think Momo does anything to bother you. She blinks perfectly normal to me."

If it wasn't for my dad, I surely wouldn't have let it go.

I still think Momo bothers me.
