After Momo and I had a fight about her keeping her and Mina's relationship from me, I couldn't be in the same room with her, anymore.
And it was difficult avoiding her.
Firstly, because she had noticed it right away, and never chose to do anything about it.
She didn't even ask why I was avoiding her, anymore, because she already knew.
Second, because I always see her from a distance staring at me, and then looking away before I could turn to face her.
It's as if we're only strangers now.
Strangers who long for each other so desperately.
I miss her, but I couldn't just do anything about it, either.
I feel like the second we speak to each other again, it wouldn't be possible for me not to tell her that I've fallen in love with her.
Or that I've always been in love with her.
And she's with Mina.
And I just can't tell her that, because she's with Mina.
The last thing I want is to ruin something special for Momo. I just can't do that to her.
I just love her too much.
"Knock knock. Anyone there?"
I was startled when I heard a familiar voice. Looking up from my lunch tray, I saw Chaeyoung taking her seat across from me.
I sighed. "Hey, Chae."
"You seem lost," she observes, ignoring my greeting. "Are you not feeling well?"
She reached over and felt my forehead with her hand. I didn't even have time to refuse anymore.
"No, I'm fine." I answered anyway.
When she thought I did feel pretty normal, she pulled her hand back.
"You're not sick anywhere?"
I only shook my head.
"Ah," she nods, leaning back on her seat as she eyed me knowingly. "Just lovesick, then?"
My gaze snapped towards her. I didn't know what to say. Chaeyoung was looking at me like she knew I was keeping a secret to myself.
I tried to stutter out something in response, but suddenly, she beat me to it.
"Don't worry, Nayeon. I get it." She even smiled at me before turning to her left— where Mina and Momo's table was. "I am, too."

FanfictionNayeon and Momo have been the best of friends since they were five. Momo's family moved to the house next door to the Im's, and it all started there. (Nayeon hates the way she blinks. It was too fast.)
