I met a girl on the first day.
"Mina," she says her name was. She was my seatmate.
Mina is pretty.
I didn't understand why I stutter everytime she talks to me. It's weird.
I also feel the familiar drumming inside my chest. The one I felt when Nayeon and I talked to each other for the first time.
When the bell rang, I walked to Nayeon's room to pick her up so we could walk home together.
She was blabbing about someone she met, as well.
I think she said the name Chaeyoung, but I wasn't paying much attention.
When we got home, I was determined to run to my mom and ask her about the strange drumming on my chest again, when Nayeon pulled my arm.
"Yeah?" I ask, blinking.
She rolls her eyes.
"You still blink too fast," she complains before proceeding, "Let's always walk to school and home together from now on."
I didn't ask why, mostly because I actually liked the idea.
"Alright," I say, and then she smiles widely.
Her bunny teeth show, and I couldn't contain a grin, myself.
And then, she caught me off-guard by leaning in to kiss me on the cheek.
"See you tomorrow, Moguri," she says before running immediately to her house and leaving me confused in her front yard.
The drumming inside my chest intensified.
