- Lexa -
Oh no! I shouldn't have asked her. I knew she wouldn't want to move in with me, she probably thinks it's too soon. Plus then she would have to ask her mum. It's a lot.
"Lex I-"
"It's okay. You can say no. I didn't think you would want to but I just wanted to put the offer out there"
I was literally shaking. I so badly wanted Clarke to say yes.
"Lex, I would love to move in with you. But under one condition."
" oh my god! What's the condition? " I was so excited. She actually said yes.
"We get a proper house. Neither you nor Aden deserves to live in a tiny apartment."
" Okay... But I don't really have a lot of money at the moment. I can try though. "
Uh oh. I really didn't have the money to afford a house. What am I going to do?
"You silly yet adorable human. I can pay for it. I have been saving all of my wages and tips. Plus I'm pretty sure my mum will help. She's been wanting me to move out so she can rent out my room to the interns at the hospital."
" your mum would be okay with you living with me? "
"I'm pretty certain. Let's ask her after school."
Clarke: Mum, can we talk after school?
Mum: of course sweetie. Where?
Clarke: let's meet at the coffee shop.
Mum: okay. Have a great day at school! Xx

"After the school day, we'll ask her."

- Clarke -
This feels unreal. Like I can't believe this is a possibility. Moving in with Lexa.
I hope everything with my mum goes well. I mean she likes Lexa so it really shouldn't be bad. And Lexa has proved herself as responsible since Aden is living proof of that.

School seemed to pass by so slowly. I began to realise how nervous I was about telling my mum. This is a very big step, one that usually happens much later in a relationship.
Gosh, I wish things with Lexa were so much easier yet I regret nothing when I'm around her.
Lexa is always so confident and I've been trying to copy that part of her but it's so difficult. She always knows what to say and when to say it, and then there's me. I say the wrong things all the time. I have zero social awareness and it's driving me and all my friends insane.
We went to go meet my mum and I was basically shaking by time we got to the entrance.
"Clarke!" my mum called out to me. She seemed slighty concerned but tried to hide it in her wide smile. "Lexa, honey, hey"
"Hello Mrs Griffin- Abby."
"You know Mrs Griffin makes me feel old" Mum laughed like this was the funniest joke ever. Since i was anxious, i quietly laghed alongside her.
"So Clarke, what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?"
I sat down opposite her, Lexa holding my hand under the table, giving me the strength to tell her.
"Since i'm getting older, i figured at some point i have to start with little steps towards my independant future. You're always working late so the house is usually empty, especially if you have the night shift. so i was wondering if i might be able to move in with Lexa. I know im still young and this is a big step in my future but i know im ready ag i'll even help to pay rent so it wouldn't be as if i wasn't helping Lexa. But i'm old enough to be making these decisions. Also-"
My mum cut me off.
"Okay."
I paused, unsure if this was a trick because it seemed so easy.
"What?"
"Yes you may move in with Lexa. With a few conditions of course."
"Which conditions?"
"You promise that at least a few days a month  you stay back home and keep your poor old mother company. Bringing Lexa though. You are always welcome in our home Lexa" she made complete eye contact with my girlfriend.
"Absolutely Mrs-"
"Abby" my mother corrected.
"Abby. I'll make sure your daughter is safe. She means a lot to me. And your conditions are very reasonable but i'm sure we would've done that either way. I care about you too, Abby."
My mother started to tear up.
"Thank you. It's lovely to see you care about Clarke this way" She now looked at me. "Now you girls better get packing. I've got a shift in 20 minutes that i have to get to. Have a lovely rest of your day."
And with that, my mother left me and Lexa speechless.

- Lexas POV -
I was stunned. The thought of Clarke living with me seemed like a dream come true. Considering Clarke's expression, she seemed equally as surprised and happy.
"So... Princess. We best get started with you packing. Shall we head to your place?" I stood up and held out my hand, as if I was her escort to prom.
"Why thank you yes. Lets go."
I'm excited to see where our lives will lead now that our story is beginning. I wonder if Clarke can feel exactly what i feel deep down in my heart. The love I hold for her. I just want to give her everything... And I will try my best to make sure she gets it.
