Day Broke Two Mil

"Look towards Heaven, and be striked down by Earth!" The elder barked as his weapon cracked against us, sending us flying.

I wiped at my cheek before I feel a powerful blow crush into my back. "Look towards Earth, and be striked down by Heaven!" The younger exclaimed.

"The Heaven and Earth Annihilation Technique." The elder explained.

"It's a force that very few are able to survive." The younger added.

I dusted off my overcoat with a grumble. "You two just changed the name from your other technique-- what was it called? Angel and Demon Barrage?" I retort. "It's as lame as that time I left the Southern Wolves."

Natsu chuckled. "Does that mean we're one of the few who've survived it? How many have, anyway?"

I hum thoughtfully as I tap on my chin. "About... sixteen?" I shrug. "So, why don't we use our own combo move? Give them a show on what we can do!" Our fists tap once before we clasp them tightly and bring them to our mouths.

"Fire Dragon Roar!"

"Ice Dragon Roar!"

Steam hisses from the room as the powerful blasts shoot forward and obliterate the Vanish Brothers. With my ice incapacitating his fire sucking weapon, the brothers are history. And so is the building.

The walls are crumbling, and the brothers are burned to a crisp among the debris, but there's snow falling from the sky. "Whoa--" I hum as I gaze around us. "I think we overdid it a bit."

Natsu palmed his face. "Awe, man... Master's gonna have my head for this..."

"Oh, man-- that means I'm in trouble, too!" I exclaim worriedly. "This is why I don't wanna be a part of a guild! I don't like being scolded!"

"I wish it was just a scolding!" Natsu retorts.

After I managed to contain the meltdown, I gaze around again. "Now then..." I hum. "We should probably go and find Lucy, huh." I turn my gaze onto Natsu, and he's gazing at Virgo on the ground. "What are you doing?"

He holds up a stick and he's poking it her side. "Wondering when she's gonna wake up." Natsu retorts casually.

I kneel down besides him. "Her magic feels weird." I mention. "She's not a wizard, is she?"

Natsu hums. "No, I don't think so."

"She kinda feels like Taurus and Cancer, those keys that Lucy have." I mention as I poke at her side. Her eyes fly open, and Natsu and I grab on as quickly as possible.

The breath is sucked from my lungs for a moment before a stagnant scent replaces it. "Did I hear my master summon me?!" Virgo shouts.

"Virgo, fetch me that book!" Everlue's voice rings out.

"Hold up, she's a celestial spirit?!" Lucy cried.

"Baby~" I hear Cancer hum.

"Natsu! Aria!" Everyone shouts.

"Yeah?" We chirp.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Everlue snaps.

"What are you doing up there?!" Lucy asks.

"Well, we were wondering why she wasn't getting up, but then her eyes snapped open real quick, so Natsu and I jumped on her." I explain breathlessly.

"Yeah, and then, all of a sudden we ended up here!" Natsu adds.
