There was always need for a new outfit. I may not have always been so fashion forward, but I did appreciate a well put together outfit. I stopped wearing a bikini top all the time and switched for a body suit that fit my body like a glove. My pants, however, remained the same. Lined with fur, except for a lovely addition of trinkets Ballad had made over the past year lining the belt. I slung my arms upwards, stretching out on the lounge chair I took up on the boat.
I hear gagging from the side and roll my eyes. "We had to take a boat?" Natsu groaned loudly.
"How'd you think we'd cross the ocean?" Gray asked.
"I dunno, can't Mest, like, zap us over?" Natsu whined.
"Too far for my direct line." Mest retorted.
"Hey, Wendy, you have a tummy spell, don't ya?" Natsu whined as he stumbled towards the girl.
I peered over at Wendy and began snickering. She was too busy trying not to vomit over the edge as well. "Goodness, if you guys would've just taken the potions like Aria said, you'd be relaxing, too." Ballad mentioned as she leaned against my stomach.
"I'm so sorry-" Wendy whined. "But recently I started to get motion sickness just like you and Aria... and her potions are too sour for me..."
"You poor thing!" Lucy cried.
"Unfortunately, Wendy can't use her Troia magic when she's in this state," Carla commented.
"You think a fishie would help her?" Happy asked.
"All right, fine," Gray sighed as he hauled both Wendy and Natsu upwards, slinging them over his shoulders. "Let me carry you to your bunks." Within two seconds, Gray was back outside, with no clothes. "Happy to help."
"Where did all your clothes go?!" Lucy cried.
"Dunno," Gray shrugged.
"Honestly, Lucy, you think you'd remember his clothes fly off without a moment of thought." I mentioned as I pushed my finger into my ear. "Hey! Keep your naked butt away from me!" I hiss as Gray ambles over to take the seat besides me.
"Will you calm down-"
"I WILL NOT!" I shout. With a loud crack, Gray shouts in pain, holding his left pec with his life. "Keep it up, it'll be hard to explain to Juvia why my handprints are all over ya!" I exclaim, smacking at his skin again and leaving another welt.
"Quit it!" He cried.
Another crack echoed out and Gray bellowed out from the palm print on the curve of his hip. We stopped bickering to listen in on the conversation between Mest and Erza, and it would seem we missed a good tidbit of it. "Perhaps if I knew what the Lumen Histoire actually is, I could make sense of it." Erza hums.
"Honestly, I'm as in the dark as you are," Mest hums. "But I believe it's some kind of weapon."
"I had heard a rumor about it," Gray mentions. "That Gramps actually considered activating it to stop the FACES."
"I heard the same thing," Lucy hums. "But, for whatever reason, he ultimately decided not to."
"Are you saying that if he did activate it, it would be powerful enough to counteract all of those FACES?" Carla asked.
"That's one theory," I mention with a shrug. "The biggest issue I'm having trouble understanding is why it's Master Mavis' body."
"Why is she in there, and is she alive or dead?" Gray asked.
